    Remember a good few years ago riding a bike along our canal mid winter and see a mate fishing.i put the brakes on as i got up to him,went to put my foot on the ground only for the ground not to be there,"SPLASH",i went straight in! feck it was cold,even colder the 2 mile ride back home!!! Another,i was fly fishing a day ticket lake,there was a fishing rising a long way out so as i was about to send the fly on its way,something hit me in the side of the head.i dropped the rod expecting it to be some twat thats just thrown a stone but there was no one around me other than fellow fisherman.

    from an early age,mine are running pipes and earths(after a worker has tried),its all play and they love it.at around 12-14mths,they are allowed to self enter/after marking an occupied place but all easy places.. pups should be allowed to be pups.. if they aint showing interest by 18mth theyre gone.. if they work it and come away a few times,theyre gone.. no minerals,no place with me.. ive one bitch,near on 4yr old.see her at home with her tennis ball and acting like a puppy but put the locator on,different terrier.. wish all mine were that way..

    Used to love banger racing years ago,theyre nuts alot of them but funny aswell. remember after a night on the beer many years ago and after having a scuffle attending a race.my head was killing me so i went to see the St Johns ambulance crew for some head ache tablets,they looked at me and asked if id had a bang on the head in the last 24hrs.. i had 2 cracking black eyes,my nose was broke and still weeping,and i had grazes on my chin i did ask them to hazard a guess dont know if they thought i was be a cheeky fecker,but they more or less told me to bugger off

    one thing that puts the shits up me..the ammount of times ive disturbed nests when out checking earths or when i used to ferret is unbelievable.. i tend to give them the shotgun treatment now then run like forrest gump!

    couldnt hazard a guess how many fresh water eels i have caught.although i spin,wobble bait fish and dead bait,ive yet to catch an eel spinning or wobbling OR witness anyone else do so.
