  1. 3.65 for a paper round...then three quid an hour for cleaning(with diesel) and sharpening tools... Beer was 48p a pint then a proper job YTS 26.50 a week which went up to 27.50 after 6 months.

  4. Well as it happens i'm copying/making backups of a classical cd collection . 40 cds for 9.99 and 7.99 p&p . Off one of the price whatever digital tv channels as i was hopping about So were having a bit of Mr Bach-Brandenburg Concerto No.4 in G Major :whistle: Best record of all time "Child in Time" by Deep Purple takes some beating and at over 12 minutes is real value for money :whistle:

  10. Don't risk loosing it Millet...that ring is there for a reason!!! Due too a bad habit of jabbing them in the ground :whistle: i attach string to them all and tie off the other end to something im not going to leave...even the back up mini opinel gets butchered and i haven't lost a knife in years.

  12. Its strange you can chop off the fourskin of a 8-9 day old baby boy without being a Doctor, but its illegal to snip a puppys tail at 3-4 days unless your a Vet!!!

  16. If you've got Windows XP you can download an Image resizer here (Right hand side half way down) http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloa...ppowertoys.mspx After installation you can right-click any picture, choose resize pictures from the menu and pick the size you want.
  17. Two weeks ago i found a bean like seed just sprouting in the garden, so i took it in kept it moist and it has now got its first two leaves. I cant get a definate fix on what it is...we feed birds in the garden so i though it might be a peanut, but having soaked a few it doesn't seem to be. So it could be some other seed thats in bird feed, though i cannot find any thing like it. The thing is we don't grow any beans and it was on a grass path next to where a corzette plant was, but i don't think its one of those either. Any ideas? The seed/nut/bean/whatever The leaves

  20. I set mine really fine...so use a stick about 18 inch to flip the safety catch as they can fair jump when they go off
