  1. well....since I'm sending my S10 off for some pampering at A&M Custom Gunsmiths as recommended by Zini and DavyT63 I thought it only fair to treat it to a new "pair of shoes" for when it came back. Zini kindly sent me an ebay link to a thumbhole stock from custom stocks, but sadly it it well out of my price range. So, whilst browsing the BSA owners forums I came across an old post offering a stock for sale but on continuing down the page I found it to be withdrawn from sale. 13. Reporting live from what turned out to be a short trip. I met wor kid and Shannon at his mams at 23:00, into the pickup and off we went. 50 mins later we arrived on the plot. Zeros checked at 30M, mine adjusted as I was 3 clicks high and it was time to hit the ground. Wor kid and Shannon set off in one direction with me in the other planning to meet up in the middle. I went through the first gate to be met by a badger, who quickly gave it legs as he saw the lamp. Scanning the field there was a few about 70M away. I stalked closer flicked on the lamp only to be confronted by bully who was

  17. Si I dont know what he has planned for it tbh mate, all he said was put a note in with the rifle when I send it telling him what I would like doing. On speaking to him and I mentioned your cut down I asked his opinion on what the superten would be like as a carbine so he mentioned he had a carbine barrel and would do a swap for my full length one and if I didnt like it when I got the rifle back I was to send the rifle back and he would swap it back. Can't wait to get this weekends sessions out of the way and get it packaged up and sent off!! I imagine I'll be like a kid in a sweet

  19. another update..... found.... snapped spring & trigger mechanism return spring isnt working properly, also may need to drill out the barrel release screw and the front trigger mechanism screw as bothe flat heads are stripped Pics to follow tomorrow..... This one is going to be a long haul!! Darryl
  20. Well Shay..... It's not going to be as straight forward as I was hoping it was going to be..... After eventually getting it stripped after removing half of the screws who's heads were lets say knackered to be polite... only to find this..... Some total f***ing idiot had been trying to fire NAILS!!!! F***ING NAILS!!!! They had embedded themselves into the head of the piston as you can see in the pic. Luckily the plastic has taken the impact and the breech head remains undamaged I'll get the pics of the stripped rifle up either later or tomorrow..... Stay TUNED!
  21. Thanks to Lost Scouse I'm the owner of an El Gamo Paratrooper in .177 It's the repeater version however on looking the magazine is missing so there's the first parts to source. All in all it's not in bad nick but it's still gonna get the full strip down clean and rebuild with a little something special in mind for this one Here's the condition so far..... Keep coming back to see the full restoration Darryl
