keep working on it Davy....the accent is nearly there.....
He only got that many cos he went by himself as my rifle was back down with Adi getting a barrel problem sorted
Good shooting though mate!
Darryl

not sure they got the heart target in the right place though.....guaranteed wounding there.....
No probs Tony....
Didnt want to come down hard was just a gentle word of caution....you know what other people are like on here for jumping off at the deep end
Darryl
Great pic mate.....
Just a word of caution though, you say it's a recent outing....it depends how recent, as the pheasant season isnt till 1st October
Darryl
if you've got £500 to speand then I would definately suggest a secondhand HW100KT.....cant go wrong with one of them mate, the rifle itself will totally out shoot the shooter
Darryl
by a "gas" gun are you meaning a PCP(pre-charged pneumatic)???
If so then it all depends on what you are going to use it for and your budget.
I'm sure people will agree with me when I say set yourself a budget on what you want to spend and get yourself down to your local gun shop and try them out for size/feel etc.
Choose a rifle that best suits YOU.
Once you've done that then make the decision whether you want to buy new or second hand
A good starter pcp is a BSA Ultra which are widely available in new and second hand single and multishot versions.
Someone else will be
Happens to us all at some point mate.....
Knowing both you and your shooting ability I know it doesnt happen very often so the positive kills you display well outweigh the injuries mate.
I say as long as you get there as soon as you can and make a clean dispatch then good on ya!
I'd call the man/woman a liar to their face if they say theyve NEVER done it!
Darryl
was thinking the same there Bill..... not deciding which one to go for...
Good on Davy for waiting for the opportune moment, others wouldnt have waited so long and could have had a injure/miss.....Nice shooting again mate!
Darryl
even with Tenant farmers it's still their responsibility to keep vermin under control.
From what I understand they may "employ" someone like ourselves to control vermin providing the landowner/letting agent agree, but they may have to countersign the permission slip
Darryl
It all depends what you call cheap.....
I'd recommend Adi at A & M Custom Gunsmiths, do a search for his details as theyre on here in a few places he can either do you a ready made one, or a custom one
What do you mean by "clips"???
Darryl
Totally agree with all you've said mate Adi is a top bloke and can't do enough to help.
Rifle looks great mate I hope you enjoy the many hours you're gonna get with it!
