  1. Great write up and explanation of trajectory mate. I was supposed to be there too but decided to finish the ferret hutch, obviously the wrong choice. I'll definately be there for the next session though, you can count on that. Darryl
  2. I would have had this off you mate but I've just bought one 2 weeks ago and I must say theyre a cracking rifle.... good luck with the sale mate free bump for a fellow Ashingtonian Darryl
  3. Cracking looking young'un you got there mate! Likes it's grub too by the look of it Darryl
  4. I wanted one myself till the guy at my local shop showed me the polava of the loading procedure, so that put me off them Each to their own thoughj mate, you might find it plausable for what you need Darryl
  5. so the injury hasnt been put to waste then mate?.....lol I'm sure people will find this very handy Nice one Darryl
  6. Nice one Zini mate. Much appreciated. I've added her but she might want to change her profile to female unless there's something we don't need to know.... lol As festa said mate I don't mind doing the driving if you wanna get out the house, I'm also trying to organise the loan of an open top 4 x 4 off a mate so we can get across the field Darryl
  7. Good going mate. Should have took a full length pic and put it I. The biggest bunny comp. Lol one is enough on a bad day though eh!! Keep at it mate Darryl

  11. The usual R & R, ice and anti inflamms in order then Zini mate certainly looks nasty anyway All it means is the bunnies will be a bit fatter when you're well enough to get back out there speedy recovery mate Darryl
  12. Could be a number of things mate. But firstly I'd be looking at the seals or transfer port.... Presuming it is charged Unless you're competent at working on your own rifle I'd suggest you took it to a gunsmith for a service. Hopefully it's something simple for you mate
  13. Damn foreigners.....they cause problems on the roads in trucks....now theyre running people off the road when they're running. Sorry I couldn't make it down tonight mate......work shifted my start time....so getting home around 2300-0000hrs and up at 0330ish to drive a full day aint worth the risk. I'll just have to make up for it next time !!! Speedy recovery anyway mate and hopefully see you soon Darryl
  14. Belated best of luck with the GNR mate will see you later on tonight if you're not too knackered Darryl ps..canny idea with the innter tube...might give it a try
  15. all depends on your preference mate and the state of your ground. A lot is still well overgrown at the mo, but dying back pretty rapidly. As for killing the young down the hole, give them a good deal of bait before you go and that will be the last thing on their mind. Plus 9/10 times the young'uns will get thru the net anyway leaving them for another day Darryl
  16. Nice mate I really wanted one of them till I saw thew involvement of the loading/cocking procedure then decided against it, but as long as you're happy with it thats all that counts
  17. Welcome to THL mate I'm from Ashington but work out of Cram Enjoy!!
  18. Hmmmm Talk about being forward in being forward mate That takes the biscuit though! Darryl
  19. nice mate! As for drilling the stock, try what I did...... use masking tape over where you want to drill and step the drill size up one at a time till you reach the size you want, you've less of a chance of splintering the stock that way Darryl
  20. Relum Tornado in .22 with Tasco 4x20 scopes got it off my dad when I was 8/9 just about the age where the rifle was taller than me. I had it for years till the leather piston seal gave up had a massive variety since then
  21. Mine is round about the same age mate and I took mine out for the first time last weekend. They both done great and picked it up no problems. It's entirely up to yourself mate but I'm glad I took mine as it also seems to have calmed them down a lot too good luck in whatever you decide and lets see some pics if you do Darryl
