Mate.... I only got the gun yesterday, the shots starting from the left were where the rifle was originally firing, as you can see it's been brought over to the right hand cross and zeroed from there, just needs a slight tweak left to be spot on. It will be checked on a range today before we go on the hunt Darryl -
Thanks Kay First trip out for them tomorrow so we'll see how they fair Darryl Good luck are the kids going with you as well ? No..... they arent "hardened" to it yet.... theyve seen me bring dead ones home and gut them and always ask for the paws and tails, but I dont think they will have the stomach for the despatch I might one day though....only way to find out I suppose

Hope so mate..... -
BSA Superten in .22 flavour with Hawke 3-9x40 Sport HD scopes Went out to my local haunt to zero it at 25 yards to start.......No bipod at the time, not a lot of time to do it and was lying in a red ants nest.....but not a bad start, just needs a tweak... then walked round the corner to find a bunny basking in the sun..... Headshot just behind the eye from 35ish yards went and bought a bipod and swivel mounts on the way home...... Good start for a first day with a new rifle...... Darryl

UPDATE!! tried allsorts but the little buggers kept grabbing that is until today...... My cuz came round....slapped the old lemon juice on and not even a nip..... they did open jaw him but not bite All we can think of is that I may have been under feeding them...... I had been using 1/2lb meat a day for the 2 of them...... but I fed them twice the other day and now they are as calm as can be...... It's their first outing tomorrow so hopefully they'll be feeding on fresh rabbit for the next few days! Will keep you guys posted! Darryl

Newbie to the site but not to hunting Introduced to the site by courtesy of my cousin Gary (Username:Festa) MY name's Darryl, I'm 35 and live in Ashington in Northumberland I've been hunting bunnies/rats etc since I was about 13/14 again introduced into it by both my dad and Gary Having done the daft thing of selling my rifle due to losing my permissions I've just recently acquired some more ferrets and am slowly getting back into it. Love the look and read of the forums Hopefully I'll be able to add more once I'm runing properly Enjoy Darryl
