  8. i bought a superten but its a bullbarrell model, anyway i fitted a bi-pod to it and when the bi-pod folds up its metal to metal on the buddy bottle just wondered if yours sits the same. just woried when the legs are down i might move to a wrong angle and one of the legs comes flying up onto the bottle.paulhodge theres about a 3-4mm gap between the pod and the bottle on mine mate........ if youre so concerned about it try applying some tape to both to cushion the impact

  19. Definately a good day. Permissions are hard enough to come by as it is after losing all mine last year and giving up hunting it's people like Zini sharing what they have that restores my faith in the hunting community Roll on the winter when the vegetation drops
  20. Check HERE to see how we got on ;)
  21. It was a mixed day of shooting and ferreting on some land permissioned by Zini (Thanks again Si!!) Along with Festa, Wuzzy, and his mate(sorry..I totally forgot your name mate ) Took my 2 jills on their first day out.....and what more can I say...... the first set we put the albino down she bolted 2 for the bag, the second set we tried the poley....she also bolted 2 but we missed a hidden bolter under some thistles and dock leaves but she was right on it's tail as it bolted out so that was just one in the bag for her, then another for the poley on another set so at least she kept up with
  22. no mate. Got it second hand. Bit of a story about how I got it, which is on the forum here somewhere love the gun though I'll be posting pics of yesterdays hunt when I get home Darryl
  23. All sorted now guys. Turns out the gun had been loaned to someone for a few days and they had knocked the threads out of line. The shop put it on a jig and straightened it but I didn't want to take the chance so they kindly swapped it for a BSA Superten Can't fault them for the service, just pleased I bought it from a shop and not private
