  1. Thanks saluki I enjoyed them.u wudnt get past that fence in one piece in the second video I have a ikc German shepherd hes eight.his back isn't too sloped hes big enough but hes not working lines although I was told his mother was bred from service dogs.realy good attitude to him never any bother and always alert watching the back garden.i have piece of mind that no one will get away with coming into the garden.even as a pup when I first got him he used to sleep outside the shed always watching so no one would come in.never barks unless theres something there be it cat or intruder ha. It's t
  2. Anymore on pre Berlin Wall bloodline gsd?
  3. Spindolero so do you think a bull cross would on average would have more wind than a Wheaton cross?
  4. I think the collie crosses are the best cross for lamping. Do u mean daytime rabbits or daytime retrieving?
  5. Nice dogs mate. I'd say the older two are good on lamp are they
  6. Oh right sorry. They could be good then.im a bit wound up ha with a bag of equipment and none are working.i have a lithium battery there and we fixed the heads because they worked when tested on a car battery so now seems the battery is broken now
  7. I wonder if they sorted the wiring because the wiring on the other light forces are a joke. I got no problems with my clulight for years then I got a blitz and my two mates have striker and the wiring is a joke
  8. No hastle bird.sounds like a top dog
  9. I bought a young springer bitch last week, she's nine weeks old.the tail isn't docked. I was hoping I could get a vet to do it because I dont want It being a problem when going through ditches.
  10. I wouldn't. For lamping get a collie grey or stick with the straight lurcher
  11. I had a three quarter grey quarter collie that killed em no prob and didnt take any punishment he'd just crash in and up by the throat
  12. The bull x puts the rabbits away but my collie cross makes it look easy using up little energy and ready for the next rabbit
  13. I think that's one of the reasons they run out of wind faster than collie crosses. For example on the lamp when on a rabbit my bitch runs full speed every run and on her way down to the rabbit. She's good on a long run on long ears but for multiple runs my collie cross of the same age will lamp all night and you'd barely see her open her mouth when she comes back to you. Pit bulls have stamina but I think for running fitness and wind for many runs not just one long run the collie is the best cross due to the nature of work the sheepdogs have been bred for for so such a long time
  14. I'd believe that.some may be game to get on edible quarry but might not want to get in a tangle with a fox
  15. I'm very happy with my bull x.just finished her first season and her willingness to hunt is unreal.
  16. Collie cross will be more durable with less injuries and will have more endurance ,it will be capable of more runs IMO
