  1. Cold frosty morning and the only sound to be heard is the splash of ur dead bits as its breaks the silence of the morning, Then wrapped up in ur best winter wollies, sounds good to me. I asked some time ago about a one day Pike comp with members off the site, I know that we would have at least six members who would take part no problem, any of you lads fancy a session and meeting up.
  2. That Pike was in poor health, it should have been a high double if not a twenty, the other fish we had were fine.
  3. Paid a visit to a water that had fished well for us in the past, not a bad days fishing, with four pike and three of them doubles.
  4. By the looks of these they could be each others father,lol.......
  5. Wonder where he picked that up from, :tongue2: looks to me like ya backed him up into a conrer :boogy:
  6. Do you know the bitch. How the mateing came along was.The bitch was in season and I said to the owner, why dont you put my dog over her. Well a couple of days went by and he rang me and said it would be grand timing before the hunting season starts so why not. He wasnt really into it when I suggested it . There was no big deal if it happened or not. The pups would be placed around us so it was our time we waste or not on them.Hopefully the first cross will work out well enough to be bred back to a patterdale dog to breed some of the Glenn out. Fair enough Raymond,im not ripping the shit he

  9. I know the problem tom tom, its fucken nuts the bitch, she is a good worker all right, but a c**t of a fighting bitch that will attack anything that moves, including ur leg, I know,lol.. Am not one bit surprized at her growling at pups, thats how mad she is, just be careful with her and the pups.
  10. As the lads say it better than a blank, nice to see the use of a mat/weighsling to cushion the pike, fair play.
  11. Shut the fuk up you prick,Im not looking for sympathy, get organised, lol.with what.Since im Irish I should have an easy supply of SEMTEX and booby trap the yard. These scum appear at different times,I cant be siting at home like a psycho waiting with a nervous twitch for them to return. 12. Just one for the day, gave a great fight all the same.
  13. Fair play to you, but hate to think where the pups might end up.
  14. In recent months we have had some nice Pike from this water, and most of the Pike were doubles,, so like kids heading to a candy shop we made the track to the venue. The weather forcast was not in out favour, strong wingds with lashing rain were on the cards for today and for once they got it right. From the word go it poured down and not that it bothered us as we were well protected from the wind and rain, but its always nice to have a little bit of sun when out piking. Not a single run all morning, which we has expected as we found that evening runs seem to be the norm on this water,
  15. Wales , super display show by ur team this morning, ya kicked us off the pitch, good luck.
  16. Give her a jab of Norocillin, sound slike she has some form of infection from the cats attack, but how the f**k did a cat attack a hound,lol... Did ya wash out her wounds??
  17. Lad I know just dropped off a bottle of Flax and hemp seed oil for the dogs, have any of ye lads used to and to what results. Cheers
  18. This creature always amazes me, maybe this is why I love to try outwit him, he is the perfect hunting machine by any standares. I think at times we underestimate the turn of speed he displays when run down by the lurcher, I am talking one night not to long ago, we were calling from a large field and right down in the far left hand corner I spotted a set of eyes, he came to the call and I was dead sure that we could nail him, but... his sheer speed and his ability to turn on a coin got the better of the dog, but its what keeps me returning for more.
