    hows it night vision if your using a red filter i am using everything to my advantage its not rocket science

    hi pip 1968 hows things going the night vision is just held in with the rod you can see and fits in the camcorder where there is a thread inside it near the lens and it is tight fitting and it only takes seconds to take it off so you can use the lamp to record without the night vision. its a good bit of kit to have .but it is not cheap

    this the setup i use for anything lamp shy. with a camera attached to record it. its a nightvision attached to a camcorder with lamp. it works really well

    Well I am afraid that not everyone understands it that way,some people seem to think shooting a fox is some kind of sin punishable by summary execution,only a dog may harm a hair on his noble head,I completely agree that all animals should be left to breed and I certainly don't shoot any until the cubs are fending for themselves, for fear of shooting a vixen with cubs at milk,of course nobody wants to see an end to the fox, least of all me,and I wish the hunting ban could be repealed tomorrow,and as for lurchers well I love them and I can say hand on heart that I can train to a very high stand

    Has anyone ever encountered any gamekeepers that have been jealous or phoned the police on them? I have been out this week lamping with some youngsters and on wednesday night whilst out and on the opposite side of the road to where I have permission the dogs needed a pee. I saw the under keeper from the other estate across had passed us i recently had a bit of conflict with him as i had been with a good friend years ago and shot nine foxes. When he saw them he asked me in a nice polite way would I not shoot them anymore as he liked shooting them himself, I said no if they are on my permission

    when we are out we always carry a pack of baby wipes donot know what is in them but they work a treat ,stops bleeding and also disinfect the cuts by the way nice dog how is it bred

    the best thing you can get for calling hares is a jonny stewart pc3 when mastered you can call hares day or night but it does take some practise

    I have been calling foxes for well over 25 years and there is a big difference between urban and rural foxes ,any outside a town and city I do not consider an urban fox ,urban foxes which are in cities rely on freebies from do-gooders such as fast food ,and food discarded from peoples cars ,rural foxes however rely purely on the fruits of the land I have travelled up and down the country and not needed to go near towns and cities to call rural foxes ,but I have also been to towns such as Glasgow,Bristol and London and foxes are in abundant .In towns and cities which i have called in streets ,

    there are so many people keep slagging the lads off what people are calling the wrecking crew as we have seen footage of them dogs they would be gone the day after as the dvd of the wrecking crew was just for personnal use ,the dogs would not last 5 mins when lamping and the fox is at its best they would pull it or bark or hunt up ,i would guarantee that anyone of the dogs what you saw called the wrecking crew would pull them single handed never mind someone moaning there is a difference between day time foxes and night time foxes , night foxes are at there best and the footage i have seen o
