  2. tell the owners where you already have permo and they will think oh if hes let him on he must be alright, this sometimes works if the farmers know each other, or get a reference from your original farmer

  7. deffo not pure americans sorry to say, the cocks 2 heavy and the hens dont looks game bred either, too short legs and overall body shape. its extremely difficult to get pure americans or good americans in the uk, as the american game breeders in america will give anyone looking to import birds (or eggs) the shit that they dont want, so they havent started with the best birds, then as there are very few americans, they have to put other non game blood like aracuana ( i think your cock has some by the look of his head) to boost the numbers and stop them being too inbred, just y opinion
  8. good post i have been out for someone who wants numbers and also just for a a laugh, and id rather go out and have a chat and a laugh than catch 50 rabbits and have to carry them home

  10. 1 rabbit for a jill is far too much, mine get 1 rabbit every 2 days for 4 jills and 1 massive hob and they are very fleshy and fatty, 2 of the jills are probably overweight.
  11. thanks for the info when you saw ground do you mean minced? and some of the rabbits i get are absolutely packed full of fat in the kidney area, i cut these out and give it to the pup, is this still not enough fat? i will definetly start feeding more fat in the form of beef and lamb though, thanks for the info
  12. philkenp, what does the barf diet contain for your pup? just rabbit and nothing else? reddawn as well
  13. I've just got rid of a litter in which I kept a pup back for myself.....& there is NO GUARANTEE whichever you pick....I watched this lot for 8weeks & still could have picked any!!!! To be honest If the litter has been reared well there Shouldn't be a SHY one!!! they should ALL be outgoing, friendly & playful!! by aggressive i take it you mean dominant with its siblings, this is a question only you can answer.....what i would say is if you haven't had many dogs go for a gentler sort of nature, or you'll always be vying for top dog with a dominant pup & it can sour your relation
  14. "happy to help newcomers in ferreting" but wont help get started by posting some nets........
