    i would say stew, a spit would dry out the meat as there is not a lot of fat on the meat and the heat would make it dry and unappetising, a nice stew will be as tender as owt

    you can feed chicken and rabbit, buy you nered to feed a fattier meat such as lamb or beff as chicken and rabbit isnt faiity enough, make sure you feed rice or veg with your meat to put fibre in and stop them shitting like a tap

    Do you have a split personality? i think your getting at the fact im saying to this chap i would not kill them yet i do? every 1 in say 20 i catch shows the sypmptons, and you have to go far to catch 20 rabbits here there is never really an epidemic, just the odd one or 2 recoverers. if i was in a situation where there was an epidemic then i would leave them be in the hope they would proudce sport for me next time. its just i disagree with the statement they are better off dead due to above reasons i mentioned. what im saying my circumstances are different to her but if i was ever in thos

    they have to recover to become immune and they cant be if fallen easy target to dogs, i would personally give them a chance against the buzzards etc in hope that they repopulate

    there is no sport in catching mixi rabs,you are better killing the mixi ones,to give the healthy ones a better chance of survival and not catching mixi,if the mixi reproduce the chances of survival are very slim i wasnt suggesting catching mixi rabbits was sport, if they have healthy babies that will be healthy next winter to catch surely that is better than catching and killing every rabbit in the district with mixi, then you deffo have no chance of repoplulation isn't mixi passed on by fleas? so surely taking out the mixi rabbits is reducing the spread of the fleas/disease and helping

    But It is still the hunting season, so better to take out the weak and diseased rabbits before the fit and healthy surely? but from the look of the photos he will be killing a lot of mixis, probably all the rabbits in the area he walks. and if all the rabbits in that area are mixi, he will be killing every rabbit in that area. it only takes 2 rabbits to survive to repopulate and he may be killing these 2 rabbits while they cant get away from the dogs. i personally would take my chances and hope some survive to produce more fit healthy rabbits, one a population is completely gone it can tak

    rhe egg cycle has little to do with the temperature, it is to do with daylight hours. it could be minus 10 but if the hens are getting food and water and are health AND have extended periods of sunlight, they will lay. its about how long the bird is "awake" for to make the egg
