A pair of handy tweezers have always done the trick for me butty
-
yeah thats the biggest problem when your dogs start coming into contact with other dogs it is a higher chance of the dog pickin them up. I always used to buy a tub of garlic sauce from a take away shop and chuck it over their food once a week keeps the fleas away nice and its cheap and tasty for them too.

I have been told by a contact of mine that he actually treated it very well; antibiotics, analgesics and anti-inflammatories, but the RSPCA attitude was that since he was not a vet he may have done more harm than good. In fact that was patently NOT the case as there is a photo of th...e dog on the day of the RSPCA/Police/local authority raid looking very relaxed indeed, stretched out in the sun. They also object very strongly to the use of staplers, though my expert vet tells me it is perfectly acceptable to the RCVS to use staplers where appropriate. It's a difficult call, but my advice with

Feeding them raw is fine. My dogs love it. -

Hey guys, ive just applied for my shot gun license and have been thinking about getting a gun dog to retrieve and bush, flush or possibly mark holes, but im stuck in as to which breed will be best to my needs. Is it best to get one at a few weeks old or a few months old? Any help would be apprechiated.
-
In this day in time a working dog is either lurcher terrier or gun dog material etc Just want to know if you have ever had or known of a certain breed or x that has turned out quite a good little worker that you wouldnt even consider that would work in the first place.

slide the lead down a bit of pipe only narrow stuff about 1 inch wide and u will be able to controll him then

Ive never tried this food on my dogs at the moment but a few of my friends use it their opinions are gain 28 is good if you want to strip the dog down as it will do that pretty quick due to the high protein quantity in it, but they have said dont feed it long term on its own as when they go out they dont perferm as good as they should as they dont have the balance right for when they go out hunting with their carb intake as thats what gives them the energy so you could mix it up a little.

lol i know what you mean but some people are very specific about what breed of dog they have so just wanted to know thats all )

Hiya i know everyone is different on here with their dogs food intake. At the moment im feeding my dogs on meat slabs like one person said if u keep puttin a certain meat down for the dog no matter how full he is hel still eat it, end of. Normally i have a bowl full of dry biscuits down for them and they pick at it as and when theyr peckish. It all depends what food ur giving them and if its anythin to do with meat its gone as soon as u put it down. try puttin some biscuits down incase they feel hungry every dog is different )

If you want to make sure that your bitch has definately caught, there are always people advertising for ultrascans you pay a one off fee say £25 and you can go back as many times as you want to make sure everything is ok and they can tell you roughly how many to expect. Maybe worth it. All the best Rhian

hiya im no expert in this field maybe someone else on here will be able to give you the correct answer, every dog is different some are earlier some are later, they will come into season when their body is ready. As for being over weight part of the problem could lie there. If you are looking at breeding her cut her weight down first as many bitches litters dont survive or worst case you could lose your bitch during birth. If you are having problems cutting down her weight no matter what you do, i think you should nip her to the vets for a quick check over and for him to give you the all clear

When i went to view my 1st lurcher pup 2yrs back i bought a pup advertised collie x grey x saluki x bull. dam: bull x collie x grey. Sire: Saluki x grey. A few weeks later had a message from the boy stating there is no bull in the dam. Another few weeks later had another message saying there was deerhound in the breeding. I did say i wasnt happy payin all that money for a pup when its the breeding that i didnt want otherwise i would of bought a different dog, but i was happy in keeping him and how ever he turns out thats wat he is longs if he did the job i didnt care. I just fo

Hey guys Pretty new to Horses at the moment but everyone has to start somewhere. A friend took me out the other day and to be honest it was the first tidy go ive had riding one. Really enjoyed the whole thing from setting the horse up to get ready to go out to riding him and taking him back to his stable. As i am new to all this and would like to learn more about them hands on i just wanted to know if anyone was local to Rhondda Valleys so that maybe 1 day i could possibly spend a day with you and go out to learn experience. My dogs have it i use an hacksaw blade to brush them down it pulls all the dead fur off real well an also off bits of dandruff to go with it.
-
Hiya, dandruff can be a cause of many things nothing serious its nothing serious to worry about thing with the last few days we have had some very warm weather it can dry the skin out a little causin it to flake, try keepin him in the shade on warm days or walk him wher theres a river near by to hydrate the skin but sometimes i have used on mine 'herbal essence' shampoo the jasmine one. People say dont use it on the dogs but ive always used it an it hasnt affected them one bit prob 3-4 times a yr they get bathed with the stuff its great for ppl who got dandruff too. All the best butty
