    hi, can any one point me in the right direction on a good pre anti tamper air rifle,im giving up my fac .22 cz rimfire to get a decent air rifle,my rifle is up for sale so when it has sold i will be in the market for an air rifle,but i need to know what are good ones and what are not so good,if anybody can help in my enquires i would like to here them.also which is better .177 or .22 and why? thanks in advance TL

    hi all, i have for sale a cz 452 varmint .22 rimfire,it has a 21" barrel,its got 3-9x40 scope simmons (i think)also a parker/hale moderator,and about 350 hollow point rounds,it hasnt had much use and i bought it brand knew,its in very good condition with only a few marks under the fore end where i rested it on a fence post to take a shot,its very reliable and consistantly accurate,if any one is interested my phone number: 07723073556 im in the kent area, £325 certificate holders and face to face! thanks tillylamp.

    hi cupcake118, these measurements are approx not exact: and are measured at 40yards. cylinder: 59" improved cylinder: 52" 1/4: 49" spread with 154 pellets at 55%. 1/2: 46" spread with 168 pellets at 60%. 3/4: 43" spread with 182 pellets at 65%. full: 41" spread with 196 pellets at 70%. roughly there are 280 pellets per shot,in a no6 shot cartridge. hope this helps TL.

    hi all, ive been thinking of buying a .17hmr for quite a while now but it means selling my cz .22lr to fund it, i really do like my .22 its a pleasure to use,quite and accurate and never lets you down, when i bought it,i had the choice of both(.22,.17)and ive allways had the .17 on my mind from the begining, the running costs of the ammo have never bothed me as ill pay for what i enjoy,i know everyone on here has talked about the differeces between the two rifles,but where i shoot theres room for both calibres, what i want to know is,would people think i was mad to sell my .22 to fund my

    hi potshot, the movement it has is on the closure,when you take the gun apart there is a hook shape metal clasp,when i was talking to a mate who used to work at a gun shop he said you can tap it back with a hammer,(which he told me at the time in private)but i put a very thin shim inside the hook and it closed nice and tight,in which i used the gun for a long time with no problem, hope this helps.
