sounds like a ball of tape worm eggs ,ive found them all over on rabbits,if its like puss probably just a cyst.wormy ones need boiling ,or freezing for 1 month to kill them ,cysts just cut them out and use ,hope this helps.
snakes was just a one example and you do get them all over the place,as for letting ferrets go in the wild thats a big NO NO,99% would die in a short space of time unless there were lots of rabbits.as for locaters they were not about years ago,so as has already been said times have changed mostly for the better ,a lot more ferrets go home after a dayout and more rabbits in the bag SIMPLES
good going mate and a nice looking dog you have there ,that cist could be tape worm eggs,make sure you boilrabbit or freeze for a month,or just bin it.
join the the gang gave up on our patches before x mas ,had a couple of invites out ,last time ferrets sticking on freshly dead rabbits that had died due to snow.think il call it a day,poor rabbits that are local still got mixi from october not good. atb for next season moe
