  1. My view is that is their problem. People who would like to see some things changed need to worry less about what others do. Concentrate instead on what can be done in a peaceful and productive manner and then stick at it. That's what changes things, it doesn't happen overnight but it does work. No government ever likes seeing people protesting. going off on a tangent but it's the reason food production is subsidised in the EU, to feed the population which makes that population happy. An unhappy population is a problem. The smart thing is to be unhappy without giving cause for action to be take
  2. That defensive pack shite inspired by a certain part of the country is a f*****g disaster for football. Most dire pile of shite of a game because of it and I'm delighted that Dublin won, seemed they actually wanted to play the game.
  3. You're right, John, except if the situation was reversed there wouldn't be peaceful protests, there'd be marching down the streets screaming anti-british insults whist burning our flag.... Quite possibly Andy, my point specifically included the word peaceful. No point in lowering yourself to other tactics. Base it on human or civil rights or some such. It's surprising what a well organized, non knuckle dragging protest can achieve. Pensioners, yep, blue rinse brigade, protested here year before last I think it was and almost brought down the govt at the time. All it takes is persistence
  4. Fair weather hunter here. If lambs are being robbed then I go out, I don't enjoy it though.
  5. Well, first of all "multiculturalism" doesn't work. "Integration" is what should have been practiced, now it seems things are in a bit of a mess. Second off, people who don't agree with the Alton Towers thing should: Find out what day it's on, and go have a peaceful protest. Start writing letters to the management, media, and whomever else. Ranting & raving, or posting certain things won't change anything. Be smart and use the same tactics that would be used should the situation have been reversed.
  6. Saw some of the pictures on the news tonight. Look like another few lads need shooting, thin out the scumbag population altogether.

  10. Any chance of a fast slimmed down version Ian, I've tried the various themes available since last I posted but it's treacle running uphill in Winter slow..... The last version before all this new look was also slow enough for me, don't know why, the previous version to that ran well. Appreciate all that costs money though!
  11. Watch it on YouTube and then flag it as animal abuse.
  12. THL Fixed theme looks well, except the contrast/colours or something like that are all wrong, it's too hard on the eyes, really, really too hard on them. Speed is gone to shit, it's jerky and difficult to know where you're going to land on a page, whether you've scrolled down a page length or a few lines, but the speed is really, really, reallllllllllllllllllllllllly bad. Appreciate this seems to be a WIP and I haven't read this entire thread for the above reasons, so just throwing in my tuppence worth.
  13. Nuisance calls? Involve Police and your phone provider.
  14. If you're getting a caravan, make sure it's proper insulated, double glazing and what ever else. Shooting buddies brother lives in one with young family and suffered last Winter. To the extent himself and the brothers bought 25mil Kingspan insulation and literally boarded up where the kids sleep, including blocking off the windows. He reckoned heat was feck all use (they used up loads of gas), would just go through the bloody caravan and outside If I remember right, they had to move back to his parents for a spell when it got real bitter.

Some time during the night I rolled over, onto Dusty who'd crawled onto the bed. Woke up to a startled dog who proceeded to bite my face a time or three My own fault. But this Halloween? you dog
