The issue with the border is checkpoints/customs infrastructure. Some people will do more than object to such installations. Which will, inevitably lead to objections to other things and back in time we go.

Best I've got so far is a boonie type hat with the all round brim on it. But its not waterproof so it gets sodden in proper rain. Got all my rain gear down fairly well at this stage just the hat that's the weak point. Like the cowboy style hats but yet to find one I don't look an eejit in......... Have we any other spectacles wearers on here who've found decent headgear for the sideways rain were blessed with?

Anyone know about the above for a T5 VW Transporter. Lot of shit/daredevil drivers around, would feel better having a decent day/night recording of any mishap. Also looking for a reversing camera as the bulkhead & blacked out rear windows impede rear view slightly

So, is March 2019 the time ye finally end up blaming ye're own lot for their f**k ups and not the rest of us?

I'd a batch of cider go manky on me once upon a time. Swing top bottles, I figure the seals (first use) weren't doing their job. On opening if you

I keep meaning to get brewing some cider again. Had some nice stuff made from pure (cloudy) apple juice bought in Lidl. Dead easy to make, just takes time.

Reckon her reasoning is a bit thin. Do know of a dispute where land was split into 4 parcels. Two were sold off on the condition (gentlemans agreement) that they would not object to housing on the remaining two parcels, to be built on by family. Naturally enough when the time came for the family to build, the occupants of the first two parcels objected, against the terms of the informal agreement. After giving it some thought, the man in question invited travellers to make full use of the land. He never said a word to the objectors nor acted upset nor spoke badly of them. But the o

If I put a bet on with every UK forum member who said Greece, Spain, Italy, France, Greece again, Italy again, Brexit, Trump, Wilders, Le Pen (have I forgotten anyone?) was going to finish the EU I'd never have to work a day in my life again. I'm surprised anyone thinks the EU will continue to survive in it's present form. The Banking crisis hasn't gone away, the EU countries have no tools to fight another recession since interest rates are virtually zero, debt to GDP is through the roof and QE has been going on for years. Greece will never be able to pay off it's debt and all of the S

Ever so slow of thinking who ever drew that up. It must be one of those "alternative facts", or lies as normal people call them, that because a % of people have expressed no interest that they must oppose an idea other people have expressed. Not really, just there is a very big difference in thinking between London and other Metropolitan areas and the rest of the country. It's why Brexit won and why the MSM were blindsided by Brexit and Trump. Go back and look at the posts on any forum from before Trump was nominated, how everyone scoffed at the possibility he would get the nomination

Don't think much of him tbh. Think he's dangerous and has surrounded himself with similar people. Free speech and free press has been replaced by alternative facts and calls to publications seeking the sacking of employees. His thin skin will be his undoing. The sooner the better.

Evening all, Thinking of making a purchase in the shape of a digital/electronic caller for foxes. Have a mini collibri and foxpro spitfire in various forms of disrepair at the moment. I'll be on foot so nothing the size of an 80s ghetto blaster, nor anything over £200 thanks. Already have a collection of mouth calls, know of polystyrene + glass, and back of hand. Is the caller on the ludicrous-lumens site any use? Thanks

The best at what ? drinking beer and singing ?.....no problem if that's what constitutes " good fans "....fill ya boots and all that. Ive been a West Ham fan my entire life i know what gallows humour is all about......but celebrating defeat i find bizarre sorry. Im not trying to piss on anyones shoes i simply wanted to know how Irish folk felt towards probably their greatest player of all time and it seems many dont hold him in particularly high esteem because he wanted to win too much.......which kind of answers my question Francie but cheers anyway. Greatest player of all tim

Howdy folks, Taking the bike out on the hill lately after sheep and naturally I've been getting it bogged the odd time. Managed to get her out on my own so far but there'll come a time.... Mostly swampy drains between lakes that can't really be avoided, and the odd small stream that looks more benign than it actually is, peat is more akin to gease once the skin is broken. So got talking to a neighbouring farmer and his quad had a winch on it when they bought it, reckoned once he brings a fencing post out with him as an anchor it's saved his skin more than once. Can anyone recommen

Howdy doody, I've developed a rather nasty habit of taking the quad to the hill, lately to try to find missing hoggets. An annoying thing happened last week, I came across four or five young greycrows, which I could get within twenty yards of, and all I could shoot at them was dirty looks. The ground I travel over can be very, very rough. Hill/bogland, lots of tussocks, and butts of peat sticking up, as well as rock, swamp etc. So slinging the 14lbs .223 over my shoulder isn't an option, as I'd rather not have a bruised spine or concussion. So I'm window shopping for a gun rack. Ri
