  1. The sire is a beddie x grey x whippet 23inch,dam is a deerhoundxwhippet about 25 inch so as you can guess hes still got a bit of knuckle left yet to grow out of,but hes steady enough about the ferrets and nets,he,ll stay on command and a good pup to be out with, but hes not finished in bone and muscle yet to be let loose on them bunnies yet
  2. Jesus frank that pup of yours is coming on leaps and bounds mate, everything seems to be coming together for you with her, shes going to be good un Its a good thing she backed off that fox as that could have knocked her back a bit, mabye next season ? I was out this morning myself with my own pup about the same age doing the same thing only with the nets, but he nailed some thumpers which slipped through the nets.Hes coming on well too but still a bit behind your pup, still a bit gangly in the legs yet To slip on bolted rabbits,aug-sept will be his time me think
  3. Twats they may be david but id watch this,id be wary this didnt manafest into a hatred of bouncy twat teens and lets be honest there plenty of them out there .As you proberly know aswell mate dogs have long memories for these things, and although you and proberly anybody who reads this thread will know who was in the wrong here(the twats) i dont think the twats parents or police will see it this way if blood has been drew by your wee beddie. Dont want to be too negative here bud as i see the funny side here too,but you having a teenage son at home the beddie is going to bump into this type
  4. dunno the final percentage ect,but thats wrong as theres no whippet in autumnbrair answer bugger someone stole my thunder!!!

  8. Well this is not my cup of tea when it comes to ending an animals life, but keep in mind, theres people in every corner of the planet who live a desprate life because of their poor, hopeless enviroments which they were born into.Their life doesnt consist of stepping out there comfy semi into their choise of two cars and getting money from some hole in the wall to buy a trolley full of provisions ect. What disturbs me more is the amount of human bodies at the end
  9. Yep,the wee whippets coming on well, should be right on the ball for the start of next season frank, not much use for them nets just shortly bud

    MOVING!!

Frank i misunderstood you here i was thinking you were hoping to give it another go with the wife and hoping it would sort itself out But how wrong i was.You seem to be stuck in really unhappy relationship with no going back with what i read on here.As im no marriage counciler but have been stuck on the same boat before,i can only say what i would do here which would part company with hopefully some kind of friendship and a better enviroment for the young yin to be growing up in,staying together just for the bairn will do no favours for anybody here, id be well gone But bear in mind this is

  16. Right this is what you do here!!But be warned you have to be cruel to be kind,so to speak. When the pup starts its whining ect you go into its kennel and block its access back into its hut with a board ect, leaving it the run, all the time ignoring it.Then when it starts up again go back down to it this time armed with the hose and let it have a short blast and a stearn talking to.Now let it back into its kennel and wait.you will find you will have to repeat this a few times before the penny drops but it will.Over the years ive only done this once with a pup but it worked in a short period of ti

Shit frank thats a bad bit of news mate, very sorry to hear this bud,but sometimes we need to make some compromises in these circumstances,if i didnt her indoors would never see me and there would be more dogs than i already have."Ah!! now there,s a thought" Anyway bud i hope things sort themselves out and it all works out for the best for all concerned

  21. A well bred beddie x greyhound is hard to beat on rabbits, rough ground, fast flat ground, cold morning ferreting, hard night lamping or bushing,no problem for this cross it will still have plenty in the tank left when youre knackerd and thinking about home
  22. Im thinking about one myself as they come at a tidy price, would be good hear any feedback too, good or bad.Iam not expecting it to shoot aswell as a theoben ect but for the price it could be a decent buy.
  23. The first of many im sure big fella, she would have had a bit of extra feed on her plate last night i bet
  24. let the summer come and go richi, keep up the the training and the bonding with him then you will have a better dog to start on the lamp bud as sept draws to a end hit the fields with him on the slip and lamp as the bunnies at this time will not be shy to the beam and should squat tight in the grass letting you walk right on to them, choose the one furtherst from cover or fence and hold him to the bunny makes a break for it,he shouldnt have much problem seeing them now bud, good luck with him
  25. oh the silence is deafening (a dog which has performed well and lived for 18 years) im interested to hear the feeding fanatics answer to this
