  3. Charlie, did you have to take Davy to vouch for your age??? Only joking mate, very nice looking gun and a great score in the HFT. How did you find the courese/pressure compared to Old Down on a Sunday morning??? Happy shooting with your new baby.. ATB, Andy
  4. All the Bassets I've seen would have been .25 cal!!!! Good question about the Bassets though, I presume they would retrieve??? ATB, Andy
  5. Very nice shooting there Si, I agree must be Chinese as I reckon you guys have gone halfs on the cost of purchasing the rifle and I don't reckon either of you would part with too much cash for a test!?!? Or would you???? Looking forward to finding out Take care, ATB, Andy
  6. Best fittings can provide snap on connectors that will take all the hassel out of using mole grips and spanners etc. One bottle, loads of guns! Regards, Andy
  7. I have a bottle and that IS because I'm lazy!! I would go for bottle if you can easily have it refilled, but as Fry has said a pump can easily get you out shooting again without having to leave the field or range! ATB, Andy
  8. Nice write up there, been looking at the ND3 for a while but never knew if they were worth it! Really looking forward to you youtube uploads later! ATB, Andy

  12. Good point Gary, maybe when the wind calms down a bit you can get some footage of maybe 5 pellet groups at 25yrds, changing the mag after each group to see the POI change??!? Just a though..... ATB, Andy

  14. Nice shooting there Wedge, good clear footage as well!! Keep um coming.... ATB, Andy
  15. Hi Bill just curious why you would try the .51's first due to the barrel being a Walther? Do Walther barrels in general prefer a medium weight pellet? Cheers, Andy
  16. Nice one Si, seeing and hearing you explain make all the difference. Well done bud! ATB, Andy
  17. I nearly bought an FX Cyclone once upon a time. I really liked the look and weight and the feel when it was shouldered, but the cocking mechanism felt very flimsy. Especially as the rifles aren't cheap! Best thing it to take a look and see what you think! ATB, Andy
  18. hi andyz no need to Andy,i have them as well plus your just around the corner!! Davy Nice one Davy, that'll save a trip. Just waiting for the rifle now......
  19. hey andy, how come you are commenting on the MIGHTY AIR ARMS when you have gone to THE DARK SIDE.LOL. Not there yet, still trying...... LOL
  20. Hi Doc and welcome to THL. I just use a gun oil either spray or drip onto a clean duster then wipe over all relevant parts block, barrel, stock (if wood). I generally do this after each time I use my rifle. ATB, Andy
  21. Cheers Darryl, I'll be in contact nearer the time. Take care buddy. Andy
  22. To be honest at the end of the day you probably already know what you'd prefer. My opinion (for what it's worth) is to get a decent springer, enjoy it, feel the recoil and start building on your shooting technique. As it has previously been said, it's a lot easier to shoot a pcp than springer. That doesn't make one better than the other, just different. When you're happy with all of the above and you're sure the sport is for you then maybe save and go for a PCP setup, this will cost substancially more than just buying a spring powered rifle. There are a lot of good shooters out t
  23. Very interesting, just waiting for my back order HK100 FSB to arrive. Once it does I may have to save for a light weight cylinder. Apart from the obviously weight saving whats are there other advantages, eg higher capacity? Cheers Andy
  24. As said .177 is easier to shoot due to the flater trajectory, saying that you only need to learn your distances and mildots and using .22 will become second nature. ATB, Andy
  25. To be honest if I was going to use a knife for hunting rabbits, I'd get one I could throw.....
