  1. Very nice that Darryl, I'm liking more and more the camo look on stocks. Nearly tempted myself! I think we're all as excited to see how you gun turns out as much as you buddy. ATB, Andy

Great bloke and as you said very very knowledgeable , very happy and well impressed with his work! Just wish he lived a little closer! I'm sure you wont be dissapointed. ATB Andy

  8. Nice one, it definately is great when the sun starts coming out! Just soak it up!!! Andy
  9. Lovely, good shooting and great photos! Thank must have been some sort of lens you were using! ATB, Andy
  10. At least if you opt for a model with notches you can be sure you've got both legs the same length! As already suggested I would def opt for the 9-13, I think the shorter on is classed as a bench model. Has anyone looked at the Stoney Point bipods? Andy
  11. Nice one Darryl like you said if you don't ask you don't get! Looking forward to reading all about your new exploits!!!! ATB, Andy
  12. Excellent write-up and pics, very informative and really interesting. Gonna have to look into the Homesteaders way of skinning, I quite like the idea of that! Keep up the great job.... Happy hunting ATB, Andy
  13. Roger, bloody hell what a shot! Keep them coming! Andy
  14. looks like it came with a bed though.... what you get up to on your hunting trips is your business..... Seriously though, nice bit of kit you have there. ATB, Andy
  15. I spoke to a gunsmiths regarding stuck pellets, he told me if they can't coax them out they have to heat the barrel and pour them out! Not something I would like to try!! Hope you get it sorted. Andy
  16. Nice bit of kit you have there Roger and welcome to the forum! When I read that fps I though bloody hell thats gonna be powerful! Alex, how did you work out the ft/lbs?? Andy
  17. I have a leather one fitted, simply because I prefer the look and feel of leather..... Andy
  18. I have the Atom Pro, must say very happy with it and very light it has a good range. As Aaron said bring the lamp down on the bunnies gets round the possible problem of startling them. Very nce bit of kit, I would suggest using the flip up filters. I currently have a snap on filter and have a tendency of pinging it off accidently, they can be a bit fiddly to put back on especially if wearing gloves. ATB, Andy
  19. Well done Jedi, great read and nice shooting! Recipes sound really nice, glad its nearly lunchtime for me!!! A bit of fish and chips today! Happy hunting, Andy
  20. Very nice, I like the tie's so you can attach a bit of local folage. Looking forward to reading stories about how you get on! ATB, Andy
  21. Definately worth checking, never thought of it myself but will definately be paying more attention in the future! Regarding a letter of concern, well worth taking the time and making the effort. I recently wrote an email to Le Chameau as the zip on my wellington had broken, I had definately had my moneys worth of wear and they were a couple of years old but they sent me a brand new pair. I say I was over the moon was a bit of an understatement. I never usually do this but will mbe making more of an effort in the furture, after all it's our hard earned cash!!! Good luck, Andy
  22. Nice bit of patience there, just goes to show it pays off in the end!! Welcome and good luck in the future! Andy
  23. WOW good shooting, how long were you out for?? I bet you couldn't believe it. Great stuff.
  24. So Davy you are human after all!!! I imagine it's very easily done, a blob of nail varnish sounds like a good idea!! You must be able to get your hands on some of that... Glad no damage was done, hopefully a lesson learnt by all. Regards, Andy
  25. Good write up Jack, especially interesting when accompanied with photos. Hide looks really good, hope you get some good results from that! Happy hunting, keep up the good reports! ATB, Andy
