Si, sad to see you go, I like so many others here have enjoyed both your right ups and vids. You probably can't even start to count up the amount of people your advise has helped in one way or another.
All the best to you and your family, keep in touch!
Andy
You did the right thing so well done. You can't speak to people who have that attitude!! I haven't had to experience that yet so fingers crossed I can stay as cool as you.....
Don't let them get to you, stay out enjoying what you do!!

Flick the light on, spot your bunnys, light off.....
...a bit of stalking, light on and check range, light off......
...get into range, light on pointing up, bring the lamp down onto target one in the bag!!!
Davy, as already discussed I'm definately up for it. I presume you'll be helping Nathan with the setup etc? Living so close it would be extremely rude fo me not to offer assistance!!!
So Nathan, welcome to THL and if theres anything I can help with let Davy know as he's already got all my details.
Looking forward to it!

I think I'd have to go with the Daystate although I haven't shot the others. My choice would be to try all then you know what is best for you!
Daystates are lovely though.................
Andy
With metal on metal I've alwys though heat to expand the item which then breaks the seal and should enable you to unscrew!
LLet us know how you get on!!
Good Luck, Andy
Great write up there Stealthy, at least you know where to look out next time round!! Them blues and two don't do anything to help the outings!!
Keep up the good hunting!
Oh yeah, Davy like the Mc Lovin note.....

Hi Brett, welcome to the forum......
Spot on advise already, can't really add much apart from re-iterating the necessity of accuracy to ensure a humane kill.
I'm sure you'll find loads of helpful topics and threads on here!!

I have a Deben Atom, nice size and good weight on the gun.
One thing to consider is battery life and how you will us it. Nothing worse than your lamp running out of juice half way through the night!!!
Andy
Narrow your choice down to a few guns then shoulder them and see how they feel, I was told if you like the way it feels that will give you more confidence when shooting and thats half the battle won!!
For that sort of money you can pretty much have the choice of most!
Looking forward to hearing what you go for, my first gun was HW77K, a cracking riffle.
Andy
My first gun was the HW77K, now I can only pass on what I hav been told about it.....
....it's a sprnger for life!!!
I personally have got on very well with it and although it is slightly on the heavy side I've never found it to be a problem!
Andy
As always Davy a great write up. Really good being able to see the pics, so thanks for taking the time!
Keep up the good work and happy hunting.

Realy nice to see a little man paying such an interest! Sounds like he's doing really well.
Pretty sure there's no age limit on the comps here, new one starting soon......
