So lads, I'm after having some kit for spinning......it will be pike, salmon and trout. I have no clue where to begin so advice on rods, lures, line strength etc would be much appreciated. Been coarse fishing all my life but have no experience of game fishing at all. Cheers

i was watching a quiz show the other day,one question was ,,,,when did londons population get back up to the same as 1939,,,,,,the three choises were 1955,,,95,,,or 2015,,,,,i thought it would be 55 but was shocked it was 2015.... with the two world wars ,,,and spanish flue in the early 20th centuray,,,we lost alot of humans That's mad, I am shocked that there were 10 million people in London in 1939 !!!

I think we are thinking along the same lines all the same, a clever person would say if something works use it and that's what I see in nature........I just think if life is random then you wouldn't see well designed things (like wrists and knees) repeating itself.

I look at it like this mate, I see intelligent design in living things so to me saying we are closely related to chimps presents no problem......it's the same as saying a skoda is the same as a bently......it basically is but they are very different beasts. If something works well (like the design of a brain or an elbow) then obviously you use that basic principal and adapt it to suit.......humans have done the very same with the aeroplane.......we can see that you need the wing principal so we nicked it.

I honestly think you are over thinking it mate. I think it's a natural reaction to the modern world. Science, conflict, popular culture & so on...... That's not to say it's right, there's certainly a lot wrong with the modern world, but would a population with a greater Christian 'faith' of been better? I honestly don't know.
