That's a little unkind, I personally think (when he chooses too) BGD can be quiet thought provoking. By thought provoking if you mean annoying people so that they interact with him I have to agree. Not at all mate, he made a great point on this thread the other day to all of us who's thinking would be described as right of center when he said that it was indeed Amber Rudd (who is Tory and some on here may of voted for) who banned NA and so ultimately led to these soldiers arrest. So, didn't you say you left Manchester because of all the f***ing weirdos being scumbags?........didn't you say you will never go back? NO child should be bullied for any reason ever ! But the parents have a responsibility also to not put their child in that position........if they want to be crusaders for transgender rights that's fine but don't use the kid. It's no different to strapping a grenade to a child and telling them to blow themselves up for some cause or the other........most right thinking parents just won't put their child in harms way. Well, it's been interesting reading all the comments. Personally I'm 100% behind the parents taking their child out of school.....they don't want the kids round anything weird same as I wouldn't want my kids round anything weird. That's just being a good parent imho

You could not be farther from the truth if you tried - please don't try BASC is not complacent; yes we try to raise funds from non-membership revenue to keep the membership fees down, for our members. I joined BASC as I shoot air rifles and work ferrets. I made a shotgun application AFTER I joined which was ultimately refused. I contacted BASC as I was made aware they had a helpline and so on. I don't believe for one second that the US government would do anything like that to its own people but I can see clearly that ALL western governments exploited this terrible act for their own ends. And they are still doing it, 9/11 effected everyone in the western world and still does. The ONLY positive to come out of it was the extinction of the IRA.

When I was in Italy last month I went into a military and police equipment suppliers/outfitters and was surprised to see they had sold completely out of white flags even though there hasn't been a war for ages.......I suppose failing to prepare is preparing to fail ! Lol

Of course, all our efforts are preparing our own oversea's territories with their half a million inhabitants, not to rescue four holidaymakers. But at the same time we can hardly pretend that four other nations haven't managed it! Ain't this why we maintain allies and a Foreign Office... Disappointingly benign/chilled this Wilf. Where's all the fire and brimstone about race, taxation, libertarianism? Retirement seems to have improved you! I have taken a new path mate, I only get pissed off if the conversation or situation requires it and then only for the required time to get things back to a sane place..........otherwise you'd be walking around pissed off all the time !
