I think, and it’s only a guess but, most soldiers would tell you it’s a very different thing operating in a theatre of operations with clear rules than it would be walking around Streatham or Newham or Rotherham moving skag heads out of buildings and dealing with some fat bird who’s had a punch in the mouth from her equally as scummy boyfriend when they have been on the crack and white lightening all night. Nah mate, soldiers don’t deserve to be put in that position.

Talk to professional soldiers and then talk to a coppers and you will soon understand they are very different animals with a completely different way of approaching their roles. Soldiers don’t belong on the street dealing with the everyday public, it’s would be a very unfair position to put our best people in.

That’s a terrible idea I always think. We ain’t like the United States, we don’t have a culture where we are brought up around guns. If you watch how American police officers conduct themselves and how British police officers conduct themselves.......it’s very, very different. Most every day British coppers shouldn’t be trusted with a clip board never mind a Glock ! That said, they don’t deserve to be killed and injured just doing the job of trying to keep a lid on the tsunami of f***ing pond life infecting the UK. Trouble is mate, what does any of that actually mean to the bloke on the street?......all he sees is his area getting worse, stealth taxes getting worse, minorities seemingly allowed to get away with murder while he gets beaten up for every thing.......his MPs don’t care and don’t listen.......he don’t matter a f**k in his own country. The list is endless.......He did what he could do and the repurcussions are seismic.........the reasons are many and varied and there is f**k all you can say to that bloke to change his mind.

The British government has hidden behind the EU for too long, many of the pro remain commentators believe it’s all about “Little Englanders wanting to be a great empire again”.........and for some, that may be the case but not for all. What a pro remain Irishman don’t understand writing from their lovely little country where people can still enjoy a normal life is that (and I can only speak for London and the SE) the UK is f****d !!.......it’s f****d with a capitol F, London and the southeast are a f***ing toilet and I know many other cities and towns across the country are as well.

I don’t know if anyone has ever watched “The World At War”.........if you listen to the testimony from people who participated or were there in the German regime then they will repeat almost to the letter the idea of a United Germanic Europe.......they even say the words “Not a small single country but a greater European empire” Its the very same idea as the EU. You can dress it up however you want, it’s right from the horses mouth.

I will totally agree that the British Government have been as much of a villain in all this as everyone else......but I don’t agree they are the only villain. The perverse dance we have witnessed the last 3 and a bit years has only ever been about one thing.......how to overturn the result of a legitimate democratic vote that every (british) politician said they would honour. Now, I will say again, that should matter to you as much as it matters to any “leave” voter IF you value your democratic freedom.......if you don’t, then of course you will be in favour of whatever most benefits

The hard thing with food is that food is kept artificially cheap in order that they can nick your money off you for a whole host of other shit, mostly a tax of some kind or another. So for you average mum, when you can buy 3 chickens for the price that 1 local free range bird will cost.....what’s she going to do? She still has to pay all the other stealth tax crap. Again, it’s just another method of control......and a fairly obvious one to anybody that stops to think about it for 5 minutes.

Farmers are out protesting across the country here mate. Trouble is, they also tend to be very pro EU and they have to realise all the time they are in that club they will be at the mercy of those people.......you can’t have one without the other

Talking of backstop and the EU insistence on having a border “to protect the integrity of the single market” How does it sit with you that they are importing Beef from Brazil at the expense of their own farmers and making all sorts of ludicrous “climate” taxes when there is thousands of acres of rainforest being destroyed to grow that Brazilian beef?

Well, I was talking to a nutritionist last week and he told me some new things I didnt know......probably common knowledge but I didn’t know them all the same. He was telling about how it takes more calories to process high protein foods etc. Told me about working big muscles (which in fairness I think you told me ages ago) to burn more calories. Anyway, I just found it interesting as I’m trying to shift a bit of flab.

Have seen for years that you are a very knowledgeable bloke on the subject of gym training and I think you have a better than average understanding of the workings of the body for training purposes and to be honest I have been waiting for you to weigh in on the Diet thread. Do you have much of a knowledge about diet and training mate ?
