To bring it back on topic a bit, all that history, all those lovely parts of the world and essentially English places would cease to exist if they were predominantly wog areas......they would literally be a ruin. There are some amazing places up that end of the country. The Lakes obviously speak for themselves but over your side can be equally as awe inspiring. I took an unintended detour coming back from Scotland once and wound up coming through Berwick and over the tweed, amazing place....it’s just reeks of history. People are by and large very good too, more forthcoming and open to conversation than folks from down my neck of the woods. I love local history stuff like that, when you start to delve back into the whys and wherefore of everyday British things you realise what a massively interesting country we are with history on par or even better than with any great pyramid or Taj Mahal or Rome. Second silage cut this last few days everywhere mate, that gets them out and about. Seen one the other evening about 6pm out in a fresh cut field up by Banada, just mooching about without a care in the world. Where I used to live, harvest in late July and August was amazing, I’d go out at night on the fields they harvested that day and see anything upto a dozen foxes on one field.

Nearly every single Irish person I speak to in my part of Ireland hates Trump......except for the bloke who works in New York as a truck driver I don’t even bother trying to explain but the fact of the matter is 99.9% of Irish people have never had to live amongst or deal with the sort of crap that got Trump elected.....if Trump ran for prime minster of the UK right now, he’d win! Totally agree mate, and personally I think it’s a gimmick......that could have been done better and easier with pigs or heritage British white cattle or highland types. Kent is one of the most intensively farmed arable areas in the south. Regenerative agri requires root structure to work with cattle in conjunction, imho pigs would do a better job of prepping species poor ground, then mixed woodland seeding and cattle once that has established. Im doing a lot of reading and studying on holistic regenerative agriculture at the minute and it’s fascinating.
