Well my old mum is 89 and she has said she is having it. She has a heart condition and we ain’t seen her for 10 months ! At least we can travel to see her and not worry we are going to kill her.

Reading all this put me in mind of that famous George Best story where he was in Las Vegas in a good suite at a top hotel, he ordered room service and he was in bed with Miss World. The waiter came up to the room and there is George, a load of empty bottles of champagne and a naked Miss World in bed with him and the waiter says “Mr Best, where did it all go wrong ?” Lol

Used to see the pakis early in the morning round east London, waking along with their long over coats letting all their household rubbish drop out from under the coat onto the street......it was like the f***ing great escape ! Filthy f***ing animals !

Good luck to the young lad, if that’s what he wants to iron his money out on and it makes him happy. We all sound like a right load of old b*****ds, I find myself doing it with my kids and then I remember all the nonsense I ever ironed my readies out on and laugh. The Mrs just give me a funny look and says “listen to yourself you miserable b*****d !” Lol Lets all try and remember our 20s, all done up in a bit of tidy clobber and feeling like a million dollars heading out on a Saturday......we have all done it.

A lad I used to play football with was Anti Terrorist Squad, stress was unbelievable and they were at it all the time. He said they often only get their information last minute and have to react very quickly to lots of stuff

I’m the same as you and Tomo mate, just a standard Joe Soap who is waiting to see what happens and with concerns about effects etc etc......I reckon that’s only natural to feel that way. As to your comment above, I’d never support any “mandatory”......that’s bollocks. Anyone who supports that type of thinking needs to go away and think harder. Like all legislation, todays something you don’t mind is tomorrow’s something you don’t want ?

I don’t know the whys and wherefore’s or how true it is but they are answering the question of how fast a vaccine has been arrived at by saying that the funding to get there has been unprecedented. Normally it takes years to find funding, run out of that, apply for another etc etc etc but not in this case. As I say, I don’t know how valid that is but it sounds reasonable ?
