I think it’s important to teach kids, boys and girls, to be independant and to me that means being able to knock up a decent pot of grub out of whatever is in the cupboard, iron, look after themselves…..that way, in my simple thinking, they will never be reliant on anyone else and so they can always just walk away from something if it’s not right.

I cook, blokes and women in my family have always cooked. My wife isn’t as good a cook as me, but she does all the laundry, day to day household admin, sorting out school dates etc etc When we fist had kids we worked together and she took the kids to work in our showroom and office from when they were 6 weeks old. We just always did whatever works at that moment in time but I don’t know how to use a washing machine to this day !

Let’s just say Ukraine joins the EU and they do the normal and print a shit load of non existent cash, flood the country with it so all of a sudden it looks like paradise……and the Russians are looking over the fence and the destabilising rhetoric starts……all of a sudden the Russian people are saying “hold on, we want some of that good living”, then the disquiet begins, then the protests, then the riots, then the turmoil and when enough years pass and enough people die politicians greedy to sell out their own land for EU money get put in place in Russia and it joins the EU…….that mate, is the s

The EU don’t need to economically weaken most Eastern European country’s like it didn’t Ireland, a predator knows who it’s prey is and picks them accordingly……these country’s are poor to start with ! As for the EU no accepting them?….really ?…..when the EU has publicly stated it wants to push back against China so you think it won’t bin its own rules (like it has so many times before) in order to grab land as massive as the Ukraine? I think you are giving them way too much respect there mate, I think they would do that in a heartbeat !

The EU wants to move its border to Putin so I don’t see why Putin shouldn’t be entitled to move his border to them of that what they really want ? Im guessing there is some kind of mineral wealth in Ukraine, greedy c**ts !

Mate, I won’t argue because you are talking about things I know nothing about….. but free energy ?……better standard of living ? Whatever the whys and what have you’s lads and not looking to be argumentative at all but imho all that counts for nothing because the end result is the same……there was a decent opportunity to elect someone different and overwhelmingly people decided more of the same was what was required ! It’s not enough that they have had their fill, that needs to translate into votes. Plenty of people say “This is f***ing nonsense” but come election time they make the same old voting choices or just don’t bother. In the case of Canada, nobody likes Trudeau but he didn’t take power by force, he was elected and some c**t voted for him ?……same as Blair here and all the shit that has come after. These people don’t end up in office by accident.

Not really though is it mate, let’s face it…..at a grand to stick a truck on the 24 hour ferry out of Rosslare that bypasses the UK they are hardly going to bother trying to flood France with pork pies from Melton Mowbray. Ireland should just be a free zone and hey presto, peace !

I remember it like it was yesterday !…..I can tell you now I’d have been about 9 and was listening all about the turnout the morning after on the radio in the car, was heading over to Wapping to my uncles house……used to play all round there as a kid when we visited.
