I look at it like this mate, that bloke could be getting a million quid a week for all I care, it’s completely meaningless to me and I wouldn’t have seen one penny back if he was getting nothing…..good luck to him. I agree totally, but my point was money has no meaning…..wether we give the Ukraine 10 zillion quid or a pound, they will still pull the arse out of us anyway…..same as your mate, what he gets means nothing. I can only ask why you’d prefer that mate ? Is it just because you don’t like it or is it because you think it actually has a direct effect on you ?

This is quiet an interesting number, the Ukraine thing has been going on what ? 3 months ? The U.K. has given them so far £850 MILLION in various type of aid……that’s £850 MILLION of YOUR money. Sort of knocks the poor c**t down the food bank begging a can of beans into a cocked hat really don’t it

On another note, I have always said this is the main problem with the welfare system, enforced charity is no charity at all imho Dint get me wrong, I think there should be a safety net for people, 100% but when ordinary folks are getting the life wrung out of them for every little thing it creates a “them & us” type culture. In reality, the welfare cost is absolutely minuscule when you take into account all the other stuff the government iron our money out on but they always want to point folks in the direction of the poor c**t who is trying to keep a family alive on £300 a week

My attitude to stuff can be summed up quiet simply mate, be kind to your own. It hard to have a decent conversation via the written word, so much gets lost and it comes across like I’m having a go at people all the time when I’m really not…..it’s just a chin wag so to speak. I take a slightly different view mate, why shouldn’t people have those things…..do we want people in abject misery before we approve of them having to beg food so they don’t starve ? I don’t. Theres government ministers flying about in cars they didn’t pay for, full of Fuel they didn’t pay for, heading to a lunch they won’t pay for and collecting money that was once yours for the trouble……nah mate, some poor f****r having a telly is pretty far down the list of things we shouldn’t approve of imho mate?

I think there is a massive culture of blame the victim mate. The fact is, there may well be a trillion vacancy’s but if people can’t afford to live on what they are paying then they won’t take them. Taking an extra part time job May either be not worth it from a tax point of view or in lost benefits which would again push people even further into poverty. The old bill round my old way were nicking people with an evening job delivering take away because their car insurance isn’t “commercial” !!’ What chance do people have with that type of mentality from government ? I

Why not ? Years ago the biggest party was the Liberals…..look at them now. Brexit was never going to happen Legally buggering boys of 16 would have been thought unbelievable and yet, here we are. Imho mate, the example you speak of is exactly where we are heading if we don’t change our course……all the parallels are there, we are repeating the same mistakes over and over….ok, some of it may be under a different guise or worded in a different way but it all amounts to the same thing. I was talking to my boy last night (no doubt boring the pants off him ! Lol) and saying how lads barely a couple of years older than him had spent that day 78 years ago getting their kit ready, climbing into boats and gliders and aircraft. Airborne forces took off at 11:30 last night all them years ago, they were the first on the ground. I always think what thoughts and feeling were going through their head and just the general character of them to be going and doing that for a world they thought worth it. Its humbling mate, well to me it is anyway ?
