I use fox snares from time to time, I genuinely don’t have a problem with them. Used to love snaring rabbits, I never used a stop on rabbit snares. If you fence set, it won’t matter if you have a stop on a fox snare or not, they will kill themselves doing cartwheels round the wire.

The historical strength of Russia is that when things get bad, it can retreat into itself……I don’t think many people understand just how vast Russia is, it can easily support itself. In the 2nd world war when Germany threatened its manufacturing base, it just put all the factories on a train and moved them back behind the urals !……no other country in the world could do that. Turning off the gas means absolutely f**k all to Russia…..they have been burning off like $8 million dollars worth a day while all this has been going on ! Couldn’t give a shit ! Lol

Not really a fan of that, you don’t hurt small people…..least I never have. Some big insurance company or bank in the city who are doing 5 large on lunch, yep, stick it to them no problem at all but small people, nah, not for me mate. Just don’t sell your houses to them, I didn’t…..told the estate agent not to send any round because I would just tell them to go away. He looked a bit shocked and he did send one round but I just said “No, go away” Spade sat outside for an hour and a half while I got bombarded with calls from the agent telling me he was a cash buyer and all that old bollocks, I just said “Look, I told you not to send any round” and eventually the African and the agent got the message.

Financially yes mate…..those numbers have been done and that case is proven. For stuff you use like the leisure centre, national trust property’s, Astro turf, state of the art school buildings, road tax, MOT for the car……no, not at all…..that’s all shit, non existent or expensive and complicated. There’s loads you’d love (taking out the obvious goal) but there’s loads you would detest as well mate. For an example, it costs €200 plus a shit load of f***ing about to clear and register my van here, same job in the uk ? £50 Van MOT class 7, €120 here…..£57 in the UK

I take my own bins down the tip in my van, costs between €5 and €7 a week based on weight. If you separate and recycle everything you can put as much as you like in a council waste station for €3:50

The fire gets paid by house insurance mate, if you need them you claim, ambulance by medical and the bins by yourself…..it’s better, you only weigh in for what you use. Health care is means tested so if you are below a certain income it’s free. I have to say it’s much better than shovelling £1600 or £1800 a year for services you don’t get or don’t use.

Now that’s a decent post mate, I was thinking much the same earlier thinking about this conversation. Theres a lot both could learn and adopt from each other and I totally agree, the north would be the powerhouse of a United ireland…..it would show how to get things done.

You can see how it could be a big problem though mate can’t you ? I think stuff many would find attractive is that they still have married couple tax relief, mortgage tax relief and all sorts of other things that got done away with years ago in the uk. Yes you have to have medical insurance but that is means tested so there is free healthcare if you earn under a certain amount, but medical costs are tax deductible as well and so are prescriptions. The great thing is no council tax to speak of, well, mine is €90 a year but you have to pay for fire brigade out of home insuran
