Just forced myself to sit through Olympiakos v West Ham…….. Its the first full West Ham game I have watched since last season as I binned sky sports. Now, let me think of something level headed to say so that I don’t start any rows ?………it was……..pedestrian ! I know one swallow don’t make a summer but I genuinely didn’t see any improvement from how terrible we were last season……as in, none ! To me that’s all a bit standard, but I am a big fan of where they are spending money in the most important places. They have given Howe the back room staff he wants by not only by accommodating the people he wanted to bring with him (which Celtic wouldn’t do I read) but by adding a top class analyst from Liverpool and nutritionists and all manner of other people that are required by top class outfits now. Furthermore they are upgrading their training facilities while looking to build a new state of the art facility and lastly, they are investing more into their academy. Pro

I was very impressed by Dortmunds fitness levels, the press and the speed of their counter…..not bad for a team in a “farmers league” huh ? That’s not to take anything away from Newcastle because they matched and in periods, outmatched them every step of the way but it’s just sort of expected in the premier…..that said, some teams do it well and other don’t and Newcastle most certainly do. With nights like that, Howe would probably want the England job about as much as he’d want an attack of hemerroids ! Lol

That was some game Charts, fantastic to watch. On another day you’d have dug out the win and what a win it would have been…..if you had managed that you’d have been talking about that game for years to come. That last night was everything good about football.

The guards (police) here get a lot of bad mouthing but I have found them to be absolutely spot on compared to our own f***ing university rule book boys in the U.K. Even when I moved over, I had my guns but it was about 6 months before I got around to applying for my Irish licenses……Sgt in the local station said “Well, you know you shouldn’t really have just fetched them over and done that don’t you” so I said “Yeah, but I took a chance you’d be alright about it seeing as I’m not a scumbag and you seemed alright when I came in and asked about licensing before I moved over” No bother

On a slightly different note, what would happen in the UK if your shotgun license was a year expired and you still had the gun ?…..I wouldn’t have dreamt of it when I was still in the uk because I think they would have come down heavy on you. I only ask because here, you have to have a separate license for each gun and one of mine expired 14 months ago, they send you a pre populated form here to renew and I sent it back but it never came despite several visits to the police station….in fact they said, it’s in the system so just wait ! The UK has a specific act of Parliament and law that deals with hunting wild animals with dogs, trespass is something different. Just having the dog in the car with suspicion that you are going hunting is a criminal offence…..so you don’t have to actually hunt anything, it’s enough that a copper says he thinks you may do. This will involve unlimited fines, loss of vehicle, loss of driving license, loss of dogs, ban in keeping dogs and possible imprisonment !

They are not particularly widespread in the UK but are found in small pockets in a couple of county’s, I know lads have targeted them but how they went about it I don’t know. If you start from the premise of “everything is illegal in the UK” then you will understand how knowledge of some things isn’t widespread.

I don’t know mate, what I do know is that when clever people appear to be doing the insane you can only assume it’s deliberate ! What the end goal is I just have no idea, I know there is a war on white Europeans and that’s about as much as my little head can deal with !

As Charts said the other day, when they are “investing” in 4 Trillion quid schemes that would take 10,000 years to pay back at a million quid a day…..you have to assume that all this “balance the books” propaganda is just a complete and utter fairytale ! They have no intention of balancing any books, so the question is, what’s the game ?
