First off, I will say that this is not an unbiased reply because I am lucky to count JDarcy as a friend, couple this with the fact that I could not express things as eloquently as Chalkwarren. What I will honestly say is, I have NEVER seen anything like this book....truly a masterpiece!! For all those that seem to want to take a dig at JDarcy and think they have a book or two waiting inside them all I will say is.....beat this gentlemen, the benchmark has been well and truly set For all the lads that are featured in this book and their hounds.....lads, you are a true credit to thi

Rather splitting hairs, but I think you will find it IS working in metric....it wouldnt be calibrated in any other way

The D3 would be out by about 0.2 but that reading on your box is out by a full meter so that is pretty far out for such a good bit of kit, may be worth checking if you fell the need to do such a thing......which you probably dont! lol

The d3 ortovox would read over, but not by that much on that type of depth...be intersting to see if you got different readings with different collars?....as you say, you know your kit but that is pretty far out

For a start, good day out well done I think what Yipp is getting at is that if your box says 2.1, you would have to subtract a metre to get to 3.5 ft.....as 2.1 in metres is in fact nearer to 7ft Hence him saying the box needs re-calibrating
