Dont really see the point in coming on here and blabbing about shooting another blokes dog........bit sad really! So what if it killed 6 chooks, they are cheap enough to replace........you could have made a positive out of it by just taking the animal back and telling him what happened........hey presto, he is in your debt and you could have done well out of it one way or another. Good on the lad, a second chance at last maybe? He gave his career to Liverpool, he should have been up and gone at least a season before he did and they played him to death......... His goal to game ratio is still excellent really so who knows.........

Not strickly true Ko, I was a baliff on some local lakes.......a day ticket and a private syndicate, I got that sick of dealing with wankers every day that I gave it up. Fishing and dogs is that full of dumb f*cks that it makes you cry...........I was absolutely zero tolerance on these idiots and as you can imagine it got fairly emmotional when you lifted the ticket of some meat head who has just paid £175 for it the day before!! But no matter what you did or how hardline you were the dicks would just keep comming back..........different faces, same mentality mate. It gets you down!

Lads I cant stress highly enough how important I think it is to have insurance on a working lurcher, with insurance you dont have to feck about at your local small animal vet.......who will maybe make a complete balls of the repair, you just ask to be refered to a top bone specialist and its job done. For the price of a packet of fags a week, you can have complete confidence that no matter what the injury there is a very good chance the dog will be as good as before.

I was very pleased with him as he was an exceptional gun dog as well as an earth dog. I used him for several years on the peg and he would find and retrieve all I shot (not much then) even woodcock that some spanials had missed or refused to pick. Maybe not the best in others eyes especially the proper earth dogs keepers but I was happy with him. Fair one, I was just having the criac with ya

Jig you wont go wrong with a frost clipper pal, cheap as chips and very very good........they are about £7 each!!! They will take an edge again and again and at £7 you dont give a monkeys if you loose it........they sound exactly the same as the green handled jobby that grant mentioned maybe someone just charged £28 for it!!
