  1. Terrier stuff, This is the second dog you have tried to get rid of on this forum. I seem to remember that a few months ago you were extolling the virtues of little Russell type ...... a few days later you were trying to move it on. I'm sure that you have a plausable explaination for all this .....
  2. Fair play to you Loco, To be honest , it isnt a problem on the ground that I go on. There are plenty of foxes. The only "Dirty Harrys" that I see around here are wildfowlers. Give that rifle of yours a pat on the head from me.

    nun

Two nuns are driving down a road late at night when a vampire jumps onto the bonnet. The nun who is driving says to the other, "Quick! Show him your cross." So the other nun leans out of the window and shouts, ...................."Get off our fvcking car."
  4. LocalYokel (you don't mind if I call you "Loco" for short?) Read my post again, and tell me where it says that "I" personally am more in tune with the countryside. But in my experience, I find dog men on the whole to be so. I will admit that I have never felt comfortable around guns, and this probably colours my judgement. As for the comedy, why not? It eases the tension somewhat, among all the tit for tat shit. ......... and dont you ever call me ignorant ..
  5. I'm sure that I have said this before on another thread but..... Once a man gets his licence, he can go and buy the best gun and scope that he can afford, and go out and shoot foxes that very night. A terrier or Lurcher enthusiast has to carefully breed or prudently buy a pup (admitedly some buy a "ready made" dog) The dog man has to feed , kennel, train and generally nurture this ball of fluff for at least a year before a fox is a viable proposition. The gunman merely has to buy some ammo. When the 1st year is up, the dog man has to go cap in hand looking for suitable permissio
  6. As It was my birthday today (21 again) I treated myself to a half day off work. Decided to go for a mooch down by the river. Chased a some bunnies and a few feral moggies around for a bit when I came across a two holer under bush. Spike was having a good old sniff as we approched it and as we got closer I could smell the unmistakeable whiff of Charlie. The pup was going mental , digging at the entrance and generally getting more exited than he would do for a rabbit or a rat. Outside the hole was a freshly killed bird, poss Curlew, not sure. The pup was just aboiut to dissapear out o
  7. Woman stands in front of bedroom mirror in her underwear and says to her husband - "I look FAT and UGLY .... Please pay me a compliment. Her husband replies.......... Your eyesight is fvcking spot on!!
  8. I was supposed to be born on the 1st March , hence my name - came a day late, and I've been late for most things ever since
  9. Was this in Blackburn Lancs?
  10. I agree that they have great noses on them, (never seen a proper one who hasn't) My 8 month pup never fails to amaze me, rats, rabbits, pheasants, deer, - he always seems to know when they are in his vicinity. Went for a mooch this morning, he marked a stoat/weasel under a tree in the roots (it bolted after a bit of digging.) Then I found him standing stock still, one foot up in the air like a mini pointer, staring at a dry stone wall, after a bit of moving stones and fishing around inside I pulled ot a large rabbit which he's having for his tea tonight.
  11. wanker HAHA At LEAST YOU GOT IT GINGE. I BET THERE WERE A FEW OUT THERE WHO WERE THINKING BISHOP CHOKING HAVN'T COME ACROSS THAT SPORT BEFORE. ABSOLUTELY RIGHT GINGE , I AM A WANKER , BUT AT LEAST I AM HAVING SEX WITH SOMEONE I LOVE
  12. I always had an interest in the sport of Bishop choking. It all started when I was in my early teens. A few years later I was heavily involved in the mixed doubles scene but in the last few years I have found that its less complicated playing solo. I actually reached quite a high level at one point (one partner said I had the best forehand she had ever seen) But these days I mainly play just for my own enjoyment.
  13. Gnasher Tyson was unbeatable in his day, For a haevyweight of 5 foot 11" tall to rule the division the way he did was simply unbelievable. I had the priveledge to see him batter Julius Francis in Manchester and his power had to be seen to be believed. In the end he was beaten by his lifestyle, and not any individual boxer.
  14. Good to see big Fraudley getting nailed (again) - he wouldnt have lasted a round with Lewis, Tyson OR even big Frank. The Earl v Katsides fight was a cracker - 2 warriors going at it. As for the Khan fight?? this is becoming embarrasing, Typical Frank Warren tactics, bum after bum. Is it just me or would anyone else like to see Khan getting a good mashing? I just dont like the little barsteward - cant think why? I just remembered - The 1st Paki to come to Britain was called "Amir" When he got off the plane at Heathrow he shouted ......AMIR.

  17. My kind of lurcher Royston. Just out of interest, what was the Bedlington stud dog like? was he show stock or a recognised working strain? Dave
  18. I got home a from work a bit later tonight, and as it was dark I took by young Beddy out for a walk in the park. Now this park is the old victorian type probably nearly a mile square with the canal at one end and surrounded by human habitation. Anyway, I had my "lamp" - big torch really , 1m cp £5.99 from Wilkinsons. I was standing on a ornamental bridge over the brook making squeeking noises (as you do) when I put the light on, a big pair of amber eyes was heading towards me along the side of the Brook. As it got closer I could see it was a fairly large dog fox. At this point

  20. Put the welfare of the coat first Nelson.
  21. Potted fvckin crow!!?? buttered toast? -nah ,i'll never catch on.
  22. Nelson Surely the money isn't the most important issue here. Whats really crucial is that this fine coat finds itself a good home, and an owner who wont just get rid because he hasn't got the patience to bring a new coat into his home, nurture it,wear it, and grow old together. I'm afraid its all too common these days in the hunting fraternity to sell a good coat before it reaches maturity (I have witnessed this many times at game fairs) Nelson,I know in your heart of hearts you will do the right thing by this trusty coat. Pm me and I will give you my address, then you can send it to me (I
