  1. I'm not so sure , Manfredo can bang, and has stamina. will Joe's hands be up to it. Calzaghe is going to have to slap this boy hard to get him out of there.
  2. Awww thanks Billy Maybe one day you will get the hang of this WORKING type Bedlington thing. No mixed breeding here old son Rillington X Gutchcommon, can track the ancestors on both sides, proper stuff. But I have to say that I was chuffed to win a 2nd with an 9 month old pup in the adult dog section, and at Bedlington of all places.
  3. I thought it had the makings of a modern day Romeo & Juliet.
  4. WASNT THE FIRST ONE A DRAW? - McCrory, another Kronk legend, Jones, hard as nails Welshman, its all coming back to me. You must rember Don Curry as well Trim?
  5. Like I say - over 30 years ago, so dont really know what they are like these days. but in my experience the ones I knew were nasty, evil moody little barstewards.
  6. my parents always had one or two of them around (we are going back 30 years now) The ones we had would have tackled anything (but not in a good way) I always remember them being very agressive to other dogs, people and everything really. Quite highly strung and not really a good breed to have around.
  7. Always underpromise and overdeliver ya skanky wee monkey.
  8. Did your sister wink at me ? Nah only kidding - grey sweatshirt . I had an almost black Beddy with me. Looking back at the pics , the only guy i recognise now is the big bald geezer -Policharleski or whatever he's called.
  9. I was there Molly (in disguise- I wore a green body warmer) I only met one person I knew - a Bedlington guy from another forum, I didnt really know who to look for , and didnt want to appear to be stalking anyone. On the plus side, my 9 month Beddy pup got 2nd in the Bedlington dog class (there was no puppy class)
  10. Soz about that, i am a bit myself. You just wait there at the services, i'll ring ya in a week to let you know whats happening I'll give it till 8am tomorrow morning and if the dog aint here - I'm off
  11. Nobby Rillington are in my opinion the best of all the Bedlingtons, bred by the late George Newcombe of Rillington (funnily enough) in North Yorkshire. There is every likelyhood that this side of the dog has a bit of Lakeland in him. Gutchcommon can be kc reg, founded by the late M Williamson, They are a bit more refined than the Rillingtons and in my opinion, generally not quite as game, but in the right hands they can work very well. Both of these strains have great noses, and are very sound compared to the fluffy white Crufts type of shite. and are therefore the ones to use in bree

  16. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT IT EH? - A BUNCH OF "BLOOD THIRSTY" HUNTING ENTHUSIASTS RAISING A FEW QUID FOR GOOD CAUSES. VERY WELL DONE TO EVERYONE WHO DONATED NOW SURELY IF WE CAN GET TOGETHER AND DO THIS, WHY CANT WE STAND UP FOR OUR CIVIL LIBERTIES AND GET THIS UNFAIR BAN OVERTURNED?
  17. I WOULD BE VERY CAREFULL ABOUT DOSAGE - CHECK THIS LINK OUT, IF THESE AMOUNTS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR AN AVERAGE MALE HUMAN OF SAY 12 STONE (168 POUNDS) IT WOULD MAKE SENSE TO DIVIDE THAT INTO THE DOGS WEIGHT. ALSO, IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED THAT THIS STUFF IS TO BE TAKEN INDEFINETELY , FOR BEST RESULTS IT IS BEST TO CEASE CREATINE INTAKE ON A CYCLE BASIS FROM TIME TO TIME. http://www.creatine-monohydrate.org/creatine-dosage.htm
  18. ONE THING IS SURE, HE WILL PICK UP ON YOUR IMPATIENCE AND THIS WON'T HELP AT ALL. MAYBE YOU ARE TREATING IT TOO SERIOUS, THE BEST WAY WITH PUPS IS TO MAKE IT LIKE A GAME AND BEFORE LONG HE WILL AS SERIOUS AS YOU SEEM TO BE
  19. Wasn't there a lad on here with a seriously ill little girl ?
  20. I am no bodybuilder, but I have taken creatine on and off for the last 6/ 7 years. The reason I take it is that I still play competative football at the age of 44 Creatine certainly works fo me, after the initial loading up stage (1 week) where you take up to 5 times the dosage, I start to get leaner and the muscle comes on. BUT only if I train hard i.e run 5/7 miles a day and push the weights. I would not reccomend this stuff to people or dogs who sit around most of the time. Another point is, a certain proportion of creatine takers are known as "non responders" which means that they
