I start mine on cold retrieves as young as possible.so by the time they are catching live.They are use to the scent and dont get over excited.Makes recall far easyer.

One dog i could call of at the start of a run.15 to 20 yards.If i was near bye After that not a hope tunnel vision kicks in.

lovely water, altho bailif is an absolute tit, lol. Up a few times in 2009.for the weekend bud never seen a bailif.After buying or permits From the small post office.Just at the start of the loch.. You buy your permit off the bailif mate, never buy from the shop. You live and learn.
