  1. And now I'm off back as he's gone down. Money is no object when it comes to my dogs I'm just a tight twat. Dreading that he has something major wrong he's such a promising dog keen as fck and loyal. Fingers crossed
  2. I'm scottish but live in yorkshire. And it could of been £5k and I'd of still paid as I said dog comes 1st but I've never stepped foot in a vets never needed to. I was in the room less that 5mins. Just can't understand how they can charge so much. £4 for a 10ml syringe which they prob got for 10p!!!

  6. My 9month old salukigreyxbull was being a bit sulky friday morning, chucked his food back up and started with dioreaha. Therefore I starved him for 24 hours. He started going badly lost 1.8kg since friday. I tried tubing drilite into him 20ml at a time 3 times an hour. He could not keep it down so I rang vets emergency number and 1st appointment was today(I rang saturday mid day).got there dog had a sickness and antibiotic jab. Vet thinks its just a bug from something he's eaten. I got two new syringes for giving him more drylite and 15 amox antibiotics tablets. £4 each for 10ml syringes and £
  7. You say a red gooey mess, is it distinctively blood or just red squits? A sudden change in diet can cause red squits or has he Wolfed down cat food? My pup did this snd resulted in upset stomach off food and red squits. On other hand if ots blood get it to the vets asap

Well this is what happened to me when I crossed the line..im not sure if the penalties given were to make a statement by the Scottish Law authorities that if you do get caught abusing the wild mammal act then this is what will happen to each and everyone that does or I was just unlucky lol...what I will say is that coursing a hare in Scotland CAN result in a spell behind bars with 6 month the recommended sentence BUT in England,Wales it is NOT considered a jailable offence..in the 2 months it took from being caught until finally prosecuted and 3 visits to the Sherrif Court in Dumfries,my bail
  9. That's a good deal. My parents pay £36 a month for their norwegian elk hound. So at £22 that a steal.

  11. not that i do it but carry a crap map and say you lost the track as you are rubbish at map reading and you brought a lamp with you incase you got lost and needed light to find your way to a public path and the rabbits in your bag are from the tooth fairy

  13. didnt see many last year but this year there is plenty, not seen many on keepered moors but plenty on open/right to roam council moors. could be linked to less heat for dog lads on open moors?? food for thought
  14. walked 114 miles with hounds since last wednesday, well chuffed with fitness but i defo need a job

  15. Get a map look at land and get on bus or train, I'm out everyday till my new jobs ready(1 week). I cover over 20 miles a day no shizzle.   17. you can but the stuff they use is surgical super glue I used to carry superglue in my med pack when in the army, might have to look up this surgical glue. I used plain old stuff on a 4 inch long 1/2inch deep on my hand and its barely scared
  18. Correct me if am wrong, I've done a lot of butchering and had a deep nasty cut to my hand once, I used superglue to seal it. Could you use this on a dogs pad??? I know they use it at hospital for cuts
