  1. Used to take mutts along beach in dover was nice and quiet. Seemed to be more giddy at night
  2. Mate there's nothing worse its chewing me up, hope he pulls through he was born to put gear to bed! Had his 1st night on lamp couple of week back only had couple of very easy slips had them both game as fk, and retrieved, f***ing horrible this lad wouldn't wish it on anyones dogs!!

They said there's no point doing a parvo test as they are very inaccurate as there is about 5 different viruses including parvo, gastroenteritis and others that are so very similar a parvo test could go positive even though its something else. As you say the treatment is all the same, I've bleached and disinfected everything walls, sofa, bedding, carpet, food and water bowls the whole house the car even the yard. My other bitch is fine acting normal, eating well enjoying the peace without pup wanting to play 24/7. Its really got me on a downer, I put 110% into every dog I've had and its a knif

Try going down the road of writing a cv put previous permissions on, references, insurance, what you state to do, a brief description of your self, I.e, respectful of stock bounderys, property etc... And post it with a covering letter asking if its possible to arrange to come have a chat about poss permish. If you don't hear anything after a couple of weeks ring them. Alternative get to know some good lads and tag along
  7. Just out of vets he's been kept in on saline drip. Vets estimates 50/50 chance now. Won't even let me wait with not a happy chappy

  11. He won't eat at all but not expecting him to just yet, vet told me yesterday dogs shouldn't eat any raw meat especially chicken :s
  12. Without a doubt he was very fit! Weighting 18.8kg on thursday, by sunday he was 17kg but I'm tipping that 1.8kg is loss of fluids and a good pound of turd. He had a no2 this morning and its getting better

  14. Honey has naturel antibiotic propertys, and also adds to flavour encourages dog to drink it his self instead of syringing it
  15. Reet do dogs pulling through, keeping fluids down I give up with vets supplied dryologht stuff as he still was turfing it up. Changed to sugar salt and honey in warm water, he's kept it down since 10pm and getting his energy back moving bout abit more looking for a bit of attention. Touch wood he will have a bit of food on the morning

  17. I don't mind paying its things like £4 for a syringe that take the piss!. He's like a 2nd son to me, very strong bond, gets on with my kids and the mrs, part of the family. Will be seriously devo'd if he goes
  18. Gastroenteritis I think , sounds right. He should be ok though otherwise they would of kept him in no doubt
  19. Just come out seen a different vet she seemed to know exactly what it is its a viral infection, called gastric something or other. She's jabbed him up with potions. Going to get some more fluids in him I'm back tomoz 11am for them to check him.
