  1. i use a cordless drill with a screw in cup hook in the end to spin the brass wire and i get my fencing wire from my local farm shop
  2. no mate thats not strong enough i use 16 gauge to make squirrel and rat traps, you nead 10 or 12 gauge for fox cage traps
  3. Orderd 8oo meters of sheet netting 6 weeks ago, still not got it, tried phonening only get anserphone anyone else had problems with them ?
  4. no you cant mate because they will get tangled on the fence, i beleive that the law in scotland states that they must be set in the open so that they cant become entangled

From feeding dogs eggs the passed 20 odd years, i have never seen any ill effect to dogs from them. Lightly scrambled is the best way i reckon. battery hens have grit added into there feed pellets
  8. try using a larson mate found they work a treat or keep baiting on and around the larson trap, i dont bother trapping magpies in the winter id rather wait until the spring
  9. bloody ell mate uve dragged this one out of the Ark and yes gamekeepers do catch up pheasants out of season how else would they catch up there laying stock and get rid of unwanted cock bird so they dont spread disease on to the next seasons birds

  16. your either setting them to low down or to small a noose or both, the bottom of the snare should be about 8 to 10 inches of the ground and the snare should be about the same size as your hand spread open or a bit bigger.

  18. personly i wouldnt bother boiling the fenn, i would just set it in the tunnel with the safety off, you could bait it as well with peanut butter ect, works well for me.
  19. ive only had sucsess with fox cage traps when ive set the trap inside of buildings, ive used dead chickens for bait that the fox has killed. ive placed the trap against a wall and surounded it with bales of straw ect so that it can only get to the bait via the entrance of the trap.

  21. ratting with ferrets is good fun in the winter but not this time of the year to many young rats about and the does will put up one hell of a fight against your ferret best of usesing a smoker
