  3. my greyhound/deerhound x saluki bitch will and has cault rabbits foxes deer hairs and anything else in me lamp pre ban of course
  4. there should be no need to prebait the trap if ther is only one fox if he enters the trap just as well catch the b*****d the first time rather than give it a free feed i would agree on prebaiting if you were having to catch several foxes if there is more than one fox the trap will be smelling of fox after the first one and should there be another then it should be easyer to catch when covering the floor of the trap use whot ever there is inside of the shed run ect he should go in first tme dont use anything else or it might suss it out and not go in
  5. same here mate seems a waste of time the giuld is trying to change the law so that you have to check mole traps every day i find it enough checking 200 traps a day let alone all 400 of my traps and as for the other lot charging £75 to join them better of keeping that in your pocket or buying more traps
  6. ive calt two vixens like this year both of them have been inside of the chicken sheds ive coverd the floor of my trap with straw they dont like the feel of weld mesh on ther feet and ive also baited it with a rotten chicken . the person that i bought the trap of said that he had no sucsess at all with the trap and sold it to me for a tenner both of the vixens where on different small holdings and id had not managed to catch them in snares and were also lamp shi good luck mate
  7. Explain to the lady concerned about the Abandonment of Animals Act, and humanely dispatch the fox. If you release it, there are serious biosecurity and welfare issues. totaly agree more humane to dispatch the animal than to release it.
  8. try making a fake nest in the trap with chicken eggs in, make a whole in one of the eggs not to big about the size of your finger to expose the yoke & put the trap next to a hedge prefferably or were youve seen magpies. then scatter white bread peices around the area to get atention works for me good luck

  14. ok the parks called newquay holiday park. its near to perth beach (thats the nearest beach to the park) but we will be willing to travel a few miles to get the best fishing/skipper/price. we fish there from our boat most weeks and theres several going out of Port Isaac as well. ok thanks. would the best bet be to ask in tackle shop? There will be loads of info on the holiday park. There's several coarse lakes around you as well but for sea, try these. Fish Newquay 01637 859596 wayne@fishnewquay.co.uk.
