    was thinkin of raising it up with a timber frame, and at a later date, boxing it in with some ply and mesh to make a double height hutch

    anyone know where i can find some plans for a ferret box, or can anyone tell me the ideal size for a box for 2 ferrets, should i divide it down the middle into 2 compartmants or will it be ok as 1 ?? regards Ian

    right lads, the hutch is now bought and built, just waiting for a member from here to get back to me about some ferts, bought a sheet of 9mm ply anyone got any tips about what sort or how to build a good ferret box??? regards Ian, is this ok for 2 ferrets?4ft x 18" wide and 18" deep, got some straw and 2 drinking bottles already, so that if one freezes i have a spare, and some ferret nuggets from pets at home, but good access to rabbit aswell, should i feed whole rabbit and if so how often? gonna build a frame so that they are up from the floor, about waist height to bottom of hutch will that

    thanks for the advice guys, looks like a couple of jills when im all sorted then, i read somewhere they have to be mated by a vasectomised hob to take them out of season, how do you go about that??

    lookin at gettin some ferts to work, have the land, and am in the process of building them a hutch, any suggestions from people of what to get, worked some with a friend years ago,so have a bit of an idea, jills or hobs??? ferret finder is ordered and im making my own nets. im gonna build a hutch and put it in my garage for the winter, would this be ok? anyone in northants got any for sale?

    hi guys, first time using nylon, knitted the row to the ring as per the net making video, started knitting the second row and as i work along, the first row tied to the ring is moving( the meshes are lengthening on the one im tying and the one next to it is getting smaller) any tips how to stop this happening? regards Ian

    dont know how many of you guys watch the fieldsports channel, but this story is definately worth 5 mins to watch http://www.fieldsportschannel.tv/yoursport/falconry/ have a look at the death of a golden eagle, it disgusted me, im no falconer but love the way these birds work, just dont understand the authorities interference in this matter
