  6. well this was the first practise run last nite, just some cotton string i had laying around, even made my own needle while i wait for one to be delivered, im well chuffed considering i learnt from a vid on you tube lol. its only 10 meshes wide by 10 long like i said just to see how it goes, gonna get some cheap poly twine from the garden centre and have a go at a full size one, i dont even own any ferrets(yet lol)just wanted to learn the art of net making, thanks for the input guys, Ian
  7. hi guys decided that i would have a go at making a purse net, everything that i have read seems to say use either hemp or spun nylon, just wondered if any of u guys use anything different, as im not going to use this net for ferreting, would i be able to practise on just some cheap polypropelene twine from a garden centre, and also when it says that u need to double knot nylon how do i do that?
