  4. we were all newbies once, great bunch of lads on here and someone always knows the answer, welcome to thl, good hunting
  5. a mates just brought one, took it to the range the other day, 1p size groups at 30 yrds, very accurate little gun,not a bad silencer fitted, like the others said bit fiddly at first for loading but soon get the hang of it, great gun for shooting from a 4x4
  6. so does that mean if i buy a moderator it will have to go to the gunsmith to be fitted?? or is it something i could do myself?

  8. Hi guys, been lookin at the hushpower 9" moderator for my webley and scott 410 bolt action from saddlery and gunroom. anyone had any experience with these? ie. do they work, at a cost of only £55 im very tempted. but like to know your thoughts, apparently it just bolts on to the barrel and cuts noise by up to 50%, let me know if you have tried it.
  9. depending on how old the gun is, it may need the regulator servicing, replacing, i have found with mine that its a bit pellet fussy. h and n f t trophy work a treat in my .22, or good old powapells.
  10. ben taylor does a full servive and improved reg for 90 quid, says it gives u 10-12% more shots too, thinkin about havin it done
  11. top marks Donnyc, shouldnt have an o ring on the bottle, only inside the reg, all fixed and sorted, strange thing is it came with one fitted to the buddy bottle so i assumed it should have 1, this info from from ben taylor, one of the original designers, so anyone who has an mfr with an o ring on the bottle, remove it now before it does anymore damage.
  12. if it doesnt work out, may be interested, let me know
  13. mine seems to have one on the buddy bottle that looks ok, but there were some rubber shards on the reg when i removed the bottle, so hopefully its just an internal o ring, dropping it in to ben taylor later, he should know if anyone
  14. thanks guys, gonna drop it into the gunshop, get it checked out,
  15. looks about right theres no o ring in the regulator, but when i took it off seemed to be some bits of rubber, hopefully just the o ring worn, any ideas how easy it is to replace?
  16. i have a theoben mfr in .22. been sittin the the gun cupbopard for a while, got it out today, unscrewed the buddy bottle, when i screwed it back in, it seems to lose air, could it be the buddy bottle o ring or is there supposed to be an internal seal on the gun regulator where it screws in?
  17. thanks very much if you look next time on a dead one and work out were the joint is you can just dislocate that and they will flap perfect will give it a go next time im out, cheers
  18. thanks all for the warm welcome
