I've got a dog pup out of the maxhardcore litter and he's no different to any other lurcher I've got or had , he's about 27/28 tts very fast dog probably the fastest I've had up to now he's seen nothing yet as I've been holding him back till the season starts .
I've tried shredding paper , hay , carpet , quilts , the lot and all my dogs do is pull it out there boxes and piss on it or rip it to bits , so don't put nowt down now let them sleep on the wood beds
Just got a springer x beagle pup in ,he be about 4 month old steady pup listens to every thing a say very obedient for now , had terriers before him bushing few years back and they shit hot would find a needle in a hay stack no bother , but once they where on a scent line that was it gone for a while, but that was a good few years ago and now they gone and I missed the sound off the dogs pushing game out of the thick cover so gone for a more biddable type so fingers crossed ??
Been to dabble duck this morning only because halls was shut , wouldn't go back if am honest his prices are a lot more than halls plus didn't have nowt in what I wanted so was a waste of a journey really
I would do it if I could who wouldn't really it's got to be the ultimate creature for a lurcher men to have caught, but to say a dog can do it single handed is a bit far fetched really I would need to have seen it with my own eyes to believe it
Yes they do deliver ( halls) at Hendon Sunderland, but think they open 6 days a week and stay open late though the week , plus all they meat is good stuff aswell ??
I've been reading these threads and at first it was a bit craic but let's be honest there's grown men bitching on like school girls bit sad really , never heard so much shit in my life
Just a few pics of my lurchers, looking for a bushing dog to work along side these three if possible, beagle x cocker or similar if any body knows of any working or my consider pup ,cheers Mick
