never seen or heard of one mate,woant this produce a running dog with too much nose and not that racey,surely it will just hunt and hunt instead of coming back if it misses its quarry,i use cockers for pushing the quarry from the cover and luchurs to mop them up as they bolt.have you used this trpe of dog before out of interest? atvb

alright mate,havnt kept hawks for a few years but the others are right.he is a food imprint and screams for you to feed him up.im not sure if this will ever stop as i have never had an imprint harris before but i have was given a kestrel once and that just skreamed all day,nightmare i know but just see what happens over next few weeks.it might calm down when its killing more regularly for its self!. alvb with your bird and i hope it gets sorted.

red raven...its is not illigal to do what dan is doing in the states,he is sharing pictures of his sport with people over seas and most people on here apprechiate the time he has taken to post those pics.if you arnt interested in hunting with dogs and dont agree with it you are in the wrong section.i dont think dan posted those pics expecting to be critisised in a lurchur section on a forum.anyways you have your say and iv had mine.im done. as for the pics,grate as usual dan.be nice to see some more. excuse my spelling.sh*t at spelling and worse at typing.lol atb

alright mate,i had a conversation with james mckay a while back about pure poleys and he seemed discusted that we had even brought it up it the convo he said they were too skittish and wouldnt make good pets or workers at all!! so it is beyond me why he would be selling these that you are talking about.are you sure they were pure breads and not polecat type ferrets?? atvb

you need to be the boss.dont take shit from this pup,dont let him.just let him know your the boss,cant really tell you anymore.i no its easier said than done but if you dont want this pup to walk over you then you need to take over,iv got a 12 month old bullx pup and he is no bother generally,just a bit of a twat when it comes to his retrive but im working on it,i hope it works out for you and he turns out to be the dog you want,if not go with wilfs idea!! atvb

mine has 24% protine dry food and minced chicken stuff for dogs or dry food and tripe.but i would mix your raw meat in with puppy food and keep your pup wormed up to date.atvb -

heres mine,12 month,havnt had him long,slaying rabbits in the beam but just changed his diet to get a bit of weight on him.

9 months + not to say that you shouldnt have them out watching and learinig.i.e out ferreting or on the lead for a bit of lamping but i wouldld never slip a dog that isnt developed properly.atvb

your pups sound like belters mate.i had a litter at the beggining of the summer and had no problems selling the ones that were left at all,i bred for 3 pups for me and family to work and sold the other 3 for £500 each (dogs) and kept 3 bitches,saying that thow i could of sold 100 with the calls we got from kennel club website and e pupz.iv spoke to a fair number of people since my pups went thow and the people saying they payes £600-£750 round my way.atvb with the sale of your pups mate.

this is my mates whippets! 20 tts and 21tts and really light in build but slay rabbits on the lamp n this is my bullx pup dave 24tts with a bit more to go,havnt had him long and he needs to get some weight on but got him on a better diet and he has put a bit on since i got him.i got him given to me as the lad couldt look after him and didnt have time for him.atvb for the new season

ouch....i dont no if a metal detector will work because i never used one but you will be able to hire one from a hire company for not a lot of money¬ atvb finding your collar...or not.
