  1. ur pup looks a little belter mate and like the others have said.next september will be her time and it will fly by.my mate had it all last year with a whippet pup not wanting to wait.he did thow and its not a bad little pup now.he also had (untill the other day) a colliex that hunted up and he couldnt stop it and it would ruin a good nights lamping tearing around fields with its nose to the ground after it had missed the rabbit it was slipped on.not a nice feeling when the lads you are out with are looking at you as to say..."get your f*cking dog under control or all the rabbits will be in" so
  2. i wouldnt let it do any running really until its knuckles have streightened out and it developed.8-9 nmonths,i also wouldnt let it got to places where theres lots of rabbits young and teaching it to scent because when you start lamping it could start hunting up all time and running about following scents instead of using its eyes.yis alex
  3. just watched it on bbc i player, not good at all!!!
  4. jesus crist thats a bully little f*cker for such a young pup, looks like he is going to make a strong on mate.i hope he turns out to be all the dog you want it to be.atvb alex

  7. wheaten bull grey, bull grey, collie x.my bullx is more than racy enough for rabbits and is soft mouthed, good feet and a decent coat.he only has a small amount off bull in him but the dog does what i want it to.it isnt an extension of my personality and it definitly dosent make me look "HARD" like some people say on here.atvb in finding a strong pup to suit your needs.
  8. i wouldnt realy say he put a dampener on the thread mate.he stopped anyone buying an over priced second hand jacket (labells or no labells) dont bother abusing me mate because i woant be looking at the thread again so i woant see it.atvb with the sale of your jacket mate
  9. this is a wind up.someone sat at their computer howling at all people geting wound up with them,if not GET A JOB!! i no work is hard to come by at the min,i know because im out of work but if you realy want a lamping dog then you will get a bit of work and get a bit of cash behind you and buy yourself one.you dont get nothing if you dont work for it.like rest of us!!! atvb in taking up the sport

  12. personaly i belive that leopard ghekos make the best ones for beginners and as pets.realy slow and relaxed, small vivarium, cheaper to feed.when i started i wanted to get ghekos but was told that they wernt very good as pets and then i took some on off a lad that bought them on a whim and could not look after them at all and i thought they were grate.just really cool and nice colour morphs
  13. best knocking on doors mate, they dont have to be bred worker to worker.it helps but it dosent mean they woant catch rats better than any,all worker to worker means is that you got a better chance in the first place of your dog turning out well.hope this helps mate.good luck gaining some permission.
  14. in short mate yes it is,it is still legal to get working terriers, spanials and pointers docked.although you have to prove they are workers by producing a shot gun cert and i know that sounds daft because a lot of terrier men dont keep guns but thats how it is,i think some vets ask to see permission letters to prove you have the land to work them on!!! and the hardest part is finding a vet that will do it.i got a decent one, s.yorks/notts area. hope this helps.atb
  15. and another, got 100s of pics, absoulutly gutted when i went round and they had gone.put a lot of time into feeding them and handeling.
  16. he looks like a little topper.reptiles are addictive.when i split up with my ex girlfriend i left and went to my mum and dads and she wouldnt let me take them streight away.said she would miss them, week later shes sold the lot.i had all sorts, maybe £2000 worth of stuff.B*TCH!!! lol arr well.recon i mite get a corn snake next year.heres some of mine.alvb with you little one
  17. so why you getting rid of the dog in the middle of the season?no offence but people dont tend to sell decent dogs for £75 this time of year?
  18. dosent matter where the dog came from if it does all he says it does.is there a trial with this dog mate??
  19. id like to see pics of yours and other get them on david Here are some pics for you of my pup, these were takin when he was about 5-7 months old. thats a cracking looking pup.its a ringer for my bull x pup but to my knolage mine has no saluki but im not entirety sure of the breeding.he is good on rabbits and dosent mind getting bitten back (rats) atvb
  20. collie, bull grey or a saluki bull grey will all make good allrounders.its not the size of the dog,its how game it is.obviously they need to be strong enough to take the big game down (pre ban) but i do think that saluki types can be quite ignorant but make excellent dogs when you get them there and as for training, jump, retrive and call back are about it.the more control you have the better (obviously) but as for training it to chase its prey,i dont think you will have any bother there.buy from good working stock.hope this helps mate.atvb with you dog when you get it. oh and the size depends on
  21. coursing stock every time but try finding one in england anyways.i dont know of any round me.lurchur to lurchur for me mate.atvb
