  5. Hardly any rabbits what so ever on my permission and i've not shot one in months, i know the farmer has a dog and ferret guy aswell so i suppose theyve done a good job but not for the airgunner.
  6. Good shooting mate, it's ace when you just start knocking them down at will! Hopefully i'll see some rabbits soon atb
  7. Aye it would be good if we did, i'd love to see one running about in there but they'd have to be introduced I suppose
  8. it was fun, i mean theres still a lot there but our permission doesnt cover the full place so they kinda have a border where there safe, I was told when a squirrel dies theres another one ready to almost go straight into its territory, maybe this is why you see them squabbaling up down and threw trees, theres nothing like ending their argument for them though!
  9. i'm not to sure about advice but a typcial case of 'haven't you got owt better to do' - arseholes. best of luck mate I think you'll be fine
  10. between me and friends weve thinned of the grey squirrels at our spot, wev'e shot a good 60+ in the last year - at request, if you shoot with a mate it's always good where one goes one side of the tree and one the other, that always works for us but obiously watch where your shooting! as zini and others have stated, always a head shot! I've also noticed that once they have gone around the tree, if you stay stood still and don't move an inch the can't resist just popping the head up for peak, shot plenty where they have got curious and presented the head, satisfying shots! our best was
  11. unlucky there mate, at least you got out though
  12. brilliant shot for a youngster!
  13. The 10am compared to the 6am shoot - definatley less rabbits, less coffee drunk & less of smelling my mates guts in the hide! - we mainly went for squirrels & birds. The paving bits you see are an old conservatory, one that would of been used to 'entertain' - it's mosiac like, I've found out that it was demolished in the 50's - I think it may have been built sometime in the 1800's. i'm told By the time of WWII it was in a state of disrepair, and was left to rot:
