  4. I wanted to feed raw for ages until i seen several dogs in the vets getting splinters removed from various places internally and that put me off slightly.I cant get decent prices for raw here either so mine get burns as one of mine was having some funny turns and ending up at the vets on a drip so changed to burns and did a few other things like raised feeders etc to see if it helps and it has.Raw doesnt suit every dog and there as many arguements and research against it as for it.A vet at my practice done a course about it and said herself when i asked her as a lurcher owner herself what she

  6. Potato is fine i used this on my late gsd used to make her salmon and potato dinners not as expensive as i thought by the way you can get salmon frozen fairly cheap and boiled it alongside the tatties and mushed it all up and theres the dgo food.Meant to say also walfcol do a dried version of salmon and potato but its around £45 for 15kg but good stuff or burns do a pork and potato
  7. The vet said this to my other half about his bitch and the other vet said theres no murmer. Its quite often vets do this with running dogs its a mistake usually as theyre different to other breeds and most vets jump to the heart murmer diagnosis it all depends if its a low grade or high grade heart murmer
  8. yes and it fecks them up royally in the long term also can permantley affect her fertility in the future so be careful and consider it very carefully its only 3 weeks and a crate can help if theres a male dog in the kennel or house.
  9. Poor pup all the best for his future wellbeing tbh dont know much of it myself but i would ask your vet for a refund at least half the bill anyway cos he sounds like an arse.He also ignored your concerns and the pup suffered at his hands.I hope the wee guy picks up and is running round pissin and chewing soon lol
