    This will give the antis and the rspca a field day early xmas for them eh?Why sell them for funny money if your prepared to kill them?Why not sell the pups cheap to workers or pet homes either or why kill them.Why is it people feel the have the right to breed their dog then remover HER pups and do away with them its not about money mate you have to ensure the bitch is happy and healthy and the pups and that good homes are sought rather than what you have suggested just because someone pays silly money for a dog doesnt mean they will look after it

    Why would anyone want to "hunt cats" id go through my dogs if they killed a cat i have 2 and well aware theyre not angels and given half the chance they will kill small furry or feathered things.Why not make more effort securing the chooks and making sure the cat cant get in or live trap them and hand them to the local rescue.I dont like lhasa apsos doesnt mean id go looking to do them harm though.My male is a cat chaser and did so the other night and lucky enough he didnt catch it i was mortified apologised to the very reasonable owner of the cat and gave him hell.My bitch aint interested kno

    Try some vit b in her diet give her a boost she may just be having an off day like we all do now and then.IS she due in season perhaps sometimes that can make them sluggish

    Bakers is horrible stuff as is pedigree chum and a few others.Had a collie here for a week or two he was on bakers when he came and i put it straight in the bin changed him onto the stuff my dogs where eating at the time which was a working dog food and he changed in 3 days.Spoke to a rescue re him as i dont do collies and it was either i take him or his owner chap him on the head and hes was only 8 months old.Lovely example of the breed too.They told me a few facts about bakers and i was totally shocked as soon as he changed his food the dog stopped being as hyper and being a bit agressive it

    Bakers is full of crap and e numbers mate its been linked to behavioural problems in dogs etc.Id feed her something decent like royal canin you can get the pup one its 32 percent i think.That should help her and give her two meals a day with a bit extra and maybe some pasta or rice through it.

    Mine are on royal canin at the moment cos im mad must be at the price of it But when you read the things that are in there its worth it had to up the protein cos my sal x is a skinny beggar all the time find it hard to keep weight on him.He loses it so easy and then takes forever to put it back on.If hes ill we end up with skeletor the dog and for months he looks straved and hes getting double portions.My bitch has to look at food and the weight goers on so thinking of changing her to a lower protein

    Yeah the foil balnkets are perfect especially for the saluki xs like mine who seem to suffer shock easier than others.Its worth having just in case.Theyre really cracking down on the self med thing i take my two to the pdsa and one day had my bitch there and the sspca were removing 7 dogs for this and fighting etc.After seeing the dogs i kind of see why.I took my bitch to the private vet along the road to get chipped and a guy had his border collie taken of him and was charged on the spot arrested in front of everyone cos hed stitched his dog.Personally i thought hed done a great job and the d

    You cant trap cats and kill them and even if you could its not right.The rspca have to tell you certain nuggets of info you can demand and they have to tell you wether it was a neighbour the housing a relative the cops etc the must tell you the source but theyre not allowed to name names

    Also you should know by now thats theres a big differance between a pit or a lab and indeed lurchers and terriers for egsample a pit can do a lot more damage than a lab and a lurcher will do serious damage also usually because of their attitude and when pushed they go mad and dont give in and the spped of their strike.Terriers are the same just wont give in even when out of their depth they dont care.Staffs are the same with one big differance they can do a hell of a lot more damage when it comes down to it how many labs have you seen recently That could match a staffys power or a lurchers str

    All dogs do have the capacity to do harm of course they do they have teeth had this fight a few times with small dog owners but its only little.The point being the law states someone over 16 years old must walk the dog and it must be under control and the person walking the dog is able to control it his daughter could have been seriously injured.It doesnt make ANY differance as to the size of the wound the fact is they failed to control their dog.Ive had this ten times over with mine the other dog attacks my dog half kills it then im the one with bad b****d dogs or killer lurchers hunting dogs

    Yes they can just have a fit or two my friends dog had four fits in three years and nothign since in the last ten years shes 13 now and perfectly fine

    I keep loads of stuff Savlon wound wash spray has been a life saver and their antiseptic spray which is dry iodine wound powder and bandages and other stuff i wont mention for obvious reasons.I also keep ear drops eye drops and dettol or tcp and a foil blanket.I would not be mentioning staplers as the rspca and sspca will have a ball if theyre on.Its totally illegal to perform Any type of wound closure on your dog unless your a qaulified vet.Seen people get s**t for this before and dogs removed over it etc so thought id warm peeps in case of this recurring.Your not even allowed to use superglu

    It felt like the right thing to do. She still comes back and hasn't shown any interest in sheep since. I think this is down to the fact that she's more interested in rabbits. Id have done much the same thing myself i have been lucky in that my two have never shown any interest in them whatsoever.My bitch especially doesnt seem to even notice them never even looks my males scared of them.If i had a dog have a go at a sheep i would have gave it a hard slap too.Forone thing it could get you a bad name with farmers etc and you end up with no permission and no where to take the dog.Some people

    thats because trigger can be adjusted for travel aswell as pressure, still have original manual for 35 will lookit out for your mate also a decent vulcan should be bang on or above the legal limit if tuned properly

    My bitch was running about with a staffy ages ago for 10 minutes and it then took a inch long ish chunk out of the side of her face for nothing.She went loopey and they started rolling around the women in her 60s did f all to help no screaming no emotion nothing.I eventually got them to slpit up after 4 attempts and her dogs was a complete and utter train wreck.Me being a dog lover helped her out with her dog and got mine home to see what the damage was and get the vet on the phone.Apart form a stitched sore face and a few small bruises mine was fine the other dog was pts.The on the way home t

    Maybe its me and im a bad cruel owner but id have done the same.It may well save her life one day.As another person said take her out and if she even looks give her a hard slap and a vod no every time and within a short period of time she will know theyre not on offer.As for rewarding a dog for coming back after its just chased a sheep thats the most dense thing i have ever heard it then gives your dog the idea that its good to chase sheep.I dont believe in kicking the crap out of dogs and have lifted my hand a few times when its been absoloutly nessecary but as far as chasing sheep goes you d

    I dont see that anyone was trying to diagnose the dog here?I think all were trying to do or certainly i am trying to do is offer help in either preventing it or controlling it.Most vets wont take it seriously unless the dogs having a lot of fits in a pattern type idea some sort of order as the meds a vet gives are dangerous for other organs and the risks far outweigh the benefits

    Depends the vet some vets charge funny money for this type of thing.My plas dog is fine now nails more or less the way it was before no problems since.My wee bitch is forever snapping hers and same treatment pan of cold water and a pair of pliers.My dad done this for years with his greys and lurchers and never had any problems as long as you keep the area clean it will heal fine

    You can NEVER be too careful mate better safe than sorry in my book.I wave at them and such like so they know i can see them etc and they still talk to me after me giving them abuse for over a year and a half.Theyre shameless invest in better extra locks on the kennel if you have one and be extra careful no such thing as paranoia in this day of thieving gits

    Depending on the situation it can be fixed hes a pup trying his hand a being a macho man.Is there a specific way this happened how long had you had him when he 1rst done this is he kenneled or not etc.First things first if theres kids around get him muzzled to ensure no harm comes to a kid i would really get your thumb on his head and get him told whos boss and if that doesnt work then pts.
