    Its cos the price of grain has risen a lot in the last year most dog foods are going up too.

    Alpha ferret feast was what i used to give mine seemed fine and healthy on it good coats etc.Easy to soak

    Burns venison and rice for a while cos its easy to digest to help with the runs and then gradually wena to a cheaper meal

    My bitch retrieves a ball or toy all day long to the hand never drops it.If theres other dogs there including her buddy she wont retireve she wont give the feckin thing back at all its HERS so still trying to stop this little habit.My advice would b a tasty treat every time the ball comes to hand ignore the dog if it doesnt and throw the ball again

    There was a huge debate on another site and folk bitchin over it my dad ran greyhounds for years and they are really prone as are lurchers.It does the dog no harm causes no stress and will cure itself.As i said get plenty of omega fish oils in the diet or vitapet which can be a bit expensive but works to help her skin and coat.The dog may look a bit silly but i wouldnt be worried about it

    When i got both my dogs the prior owners said both were vaxed and cant see why they would lie i only asked so if not i could get it done maself.But theres been loads of parvo rolling round here recently.A friends pup died a few months back without most of the symptoms to start with went downhill and died.My dog took ill and i was worried sick so this is the last time after these jabs thats their lot i only gave any of my dogs puppy jabs then a booster and worked out fine for years.

    In case its any use to anyone the vets are doing quite a discount on jabs and microchips as well as giving the pet a good check up.Taking mine on wednesday to the vets for jabs they where supposed to get a booster but because i dont have the paperwork they are staring again from scratch so the full set of jabs for both dogs £44 which is bloomin cheap my male got a booster over a year ago and it was £31 odd

    Starving your dogs once a week used to be how folk with dogs from yester year done things mainly cos you werent allowed to hunt on a sunday so there was nothing to give.Its good for keeping their weight right though

    I give omega 3 and 6 oil capsules from the chemist one every other day if unsure start off with a few drops then increase gradully if you give them too much you will be donnin the rubber gloves and a bucket lol

    You often find the pellet in the nest box or in the hutch when your cleaning it out.Never had a ferret eat the pellet yet.

    I havent used it much injured a few squirells by accident of course Kamakaze squirell wasnt so smart with a pellet in his shoulder.

    A friends taking the hutch cos the lucky b*****d is getting a kit of another friend.Theres a cracking sawmill in rutherglen does really cheap hutches average price £25 joiner made and he will make one to your own specifications if you ask him.

    I am sorry but telling any wannabe dog theif/peddlar how to do it isnt right imo,Prevention is the best thing to do but go to b and q for that.I have always kept my lurchers in the house and always will.Anyone starts asking questions i am as blunt as hell and as subtle as a brick over the head.I have had gypos asking me to sell my dogs and asking all sorts of really obvious questions.The response is usually quite nippy and not very pleasant.Im lucky my dogs refuse to go with anyone strange and the bitch would bite and we had an incident with an old lady WTF she stole a friends dog years ago an

    As you can see shes the nastiest pit you ever did see rofl a comment was made regarding her being vicious cos i have 2 muzzles hanging up.I have had a muzzle for every dog i have ever owned in case i ever needed one

    The vet can give you activated charcoal to soak up the toxins and make her feel better.I hope she perks up soon.
