Lewis said something like..."Mike Tyson surveyed all hes saw as king when he was young...but i like a good wine matured later"...Lewis knew he had beaten a coked out shadow of the former Tyson...he was never the same fighter after he came out of jail...the trouble with Tyson these days is that everyone seems to judge him as a boxer for what he went to jail for...the media has done a good job on him...i remember listening to the first Tyson vs Bruno fight on a radio at a lock in at my old local...none of us had sky back then....many generations of fight fans that night...all supporting Bruno...

I see Khan was crying in the paper again today about not getting a shot at Mayweather...the real reason he didnt want to fight him is they dont see him as a big draw...said he dont even draw a crowd in his home country...Kell Brook is IBF champ and 33-0...Khans 30-3...he should reign his arrogance in a bit and take the Brook fight as offerd...and be grateful for it...maybe if he shows he can fill wembley...that would make him more appealing to the Money..thats.if he won...

It's killing plain and simple and matching, happens every day in nature, these emotive terms like "blood sport" and "cruelty" mean nothing to me any more.Animals kill other animals and animals match up against each other......so f***ing what. prey is killed by predators and same species will match but which species will fight to the death? pigs http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2536507/Its-Rocky-Bal-boar-Thousands-watch-two-PIGS-fight-death-brutal-Chinese-sport.html If I had to watch them two pigs fight to the death I'd die of boredom first But just think of the BBQ afterwards...

?...a dead game dog is one that takes its death rather than quit...its deadOh no it's not ....Its all got a bit pantomime now...if you think that a deadgame dog isnt a dog thats dead...then you clearly dont know what your talking about...a game dog is one that wont quit at its task no matter what...a deadgame dog dies seeing the job through...historicaly speaking..the clues in the word...'Dead'What about this instance then Brindle, a fella who we went to visit kept a big yard, part of his learning about the dogs he went and worked for the Rebel -Ricky Jones as a general yard boy. Well at this point the thread seems to come full circle...starts off with useless 170pounders and finishes with handy 30pounders...theres some sort of message in there somewhere

I once lent Dogs of velvet and steel to the originator of this thread...(i wonder if he remembers?)...i dont think its that great a book to be honest...certainly not worth the silly money it was changing hands for in the UK about 10yr back...i got a copy straight off the author

Well i feel like we got our moneys worth last night...Murray and smith can both hold their heads up high...good displays from both...also some other boxers could learn a bit from the way these lads conducted themselves going into these fights...Murray is one tough fecker and gave Golovkin a good test...sadly Paul Smith came up short this time...nowhere near as close as the last fight...that Abraham's a tough nut to crack...looked a differnt weight class...David Price on the undercard didnt look all that hot against a well over the hill Skelton

5 yrs too bloody late!...lets hope it lives up to eveybodys expectations
-
Also Abrahams vs Smith on sky tonight...Paul Smith like Murray not getting the decision away from home...last match was close with some dodgy score cards...think i will probably record this one...so i can fast forward it... as i cant stand the way the Krauts do boxing...heavy metal bands playing the fighters out...sterile passionless atmosphere...watched Golovkin fight Lajuan Simon over there...looked like they was fighting in a funeral parlour...Hope Smith gets the win...he deserves it after last time...Arthur Abraham typical bland German fighter cut from the same cardboard as boring old Sven

If gameness could be truly be bred for then there would be no curs. But I know one thing if I was into such things if I had the option of owning a hard biting cur with loads of ability or a super game dog with no ability and a weak bite I'd take the cur all day long.Yes has a performance dog but would you choose that hard biting cur to start your breeding program? I'd rather keep a cotton mouthed wrestler of a dog 1xGL...than knowingly feed a dog with one drop of cur blood in Just for debate purposes ill ask why? If every dog has it in it to quit. And curs can produce. Do you think gameness i
